Having a problem with companions

^ Truth. Only one human/mutant/ghoul companion is allowed at a time, plus either ED-E or Rex. You have to dismiss Arcade before Veronica will join you. If you haven't been to the Lucky 38 yet, do so before switching companions so that you can send them back to a common base once you acquire them... then just change out as desired.

Would've been awesome if you could've formed a party like in Dragon Age then steamroll everyone and everything. Maybe scale NPCs according to how many companions are in the party.

 

Come to think of it, there should be a mod that does this.

 

MMM should do the job, in FO3 I had several companions and increased spawns, it was great fun.

You may or may not know there a couple of mod that allow you to have more followers.

 

but I've found that Rex won't follow if Ed.e is present or not.

 

Rex and ED-E both can join..

 

yup..forget what one im runnin but at one time i had a platoon of 7 people and both Rex and ED-E...oh and Cheyenne cause i had Sunny as a companion and she dont go no where with out her dog, also Bess the Brahmen, so 11 all together..thats not including Lily cause well...i just hate that mental case :rolleyes:

 

but i had to let some people go cause its just to many...everyone trippin over each other...always being detected while tryin to sneak attack at some point..Arcade got his hands on dynamite and was tossin the stuff freakin everywhere....

 

Now its just my Char, Sunny@Cheyenne, Veronica, Cass, and Bess to carry all our gear and to set up the camp items..walls, sandbags, watch tower and other stuff...
