eLucifer
Does anyone use that at all? For me I usually don't carry junk or unnecessary plants around, so no.
Fonger
you should look into hand pack ammo (not simply re-pack ammo) more damage ususlly and have you tried to find ammo for a Sequoia Its easier to find mini-nukes so you gotta repack your existing shells for this one. then there's the effectively free recycling of (most) energy cells why throw these away
zerrodefex
I didn't on my first playthrough because I didn't understand how the system worked, even after the tutorial. Second time through the game I put some points into Survival and used it a lot more. Being able to reload bullets and recycle energy ammo helped a lot. Being able to use otherwise worthless Aid items that had debuffs to make Aid items that are much more useful was worth the time. It doesn't take much survival skill to make many of the food recipes, with 20 you can cook Gecko Meat into Gecko Steak, which doesn't have the -1 STR and heals for more. Those useless Honey Mesquite Pods, Wine, and Mantis Legs can be made into Grilled Mantis as well. You can also make poisons from the various poison glands and apply the poisons to your melee weapons to give them debuff effects.
x0diak
Love the crafting system, except for the Reloading. I think its bugged,as i have 24,000+ pieces of lead, i should be struggling to balance it against the ammo i go through right? Its weightless, and using it to make other rounds, seems to produce more? I dont know, it seems a little weird.
DeathTyrant
When it comes to weightless component parts, like the ammo reloading components I am happy to have thousands of it. If it weighed me down, then maybe not. Even though my first character was Energy weapons, and my current one unarmed, I am really looking forward to my long range guns specialist. Making a buttload of my own special hot rounds will be fun. I shall name him Matthew Quigley and give him an awesome hat.
zerrodefex
I've found that once I figured out how to cook food I pretty much never use Stimpacks at all unless in a really bad firefight. Plus Slasher and Party Time Mentats are much better than Psycho and regular Mentats (and stack with each other).
Fonger
Plus Slasher and Party Time Mentats are much better than Psycho and regular Mentats (and stack with each other).the only problem with this is finding the mentats in the first place too many nice options in this game are rarer than Bulk 308 ammo.
