Talonflight
Its been a fun road on my Death Knight character, but Its hard to feel like a real Death Knight when you're stil.... well.... Breton. I propose a new disiese, similar in function to Vampirism or the Lich form in the ever-popular Undeath mod. While the Undeath mod served my purposes for a good while, It just doesn't seem feasable for a heavy-armor sword wielder to suddenly become an arcane master. I propose something else. Imagine, if you will, that there is some sort of ritual you can perform, provided you do a little questing and acquire the items for it first. Then, you transform yourself, for all intents and purposes, into a revenant. A sentient and non-rotting zombie. My ideas: Weaknesses:Health Regeneration is fully stopped. You don't gain health over time.Food no longer heals you. Healing spells/potions have their effectiveness reduced by 75%-10 to speechcraft-4 damage per second when in water (Because water is pure, and is antithesis to the revenant. Can be toggled off for player homes)Weakness to Silver StrengthsStamina and stamina regen is buffed. You gain a (slight) damage resistance as your undead flesh is stronger than human flesh. You gain a resistance (but not immunity) to stagger/stun, since undead do not feel painYou gain a buff to Two handed and to one handed since undead can strike harder than humansThe ability to cannibalize corpses (similar to the power granted by the Ring of Namira). Cannibalizing corpses regenerates your health, as well as giving you Human Meat which can be eaten later to give health regeneration. Feeding with Ring of Namira would give extra bonuses.Edit: POSSIBLE FEATURES (not really a requirement but more of a tacked-on at the last minute idea):Undead grafts, where you replace one of your arms with a skeleton arm. It could function as an armor piece that overwrites your left arm, and gives you a unique power or somesuch, perhaps a touch ability where if you touch someone it drains their life and paralyzes them for a couple seconds. Boombro
Hey, what wrong in becoming a an arcane master while using heavy armor?! I can write so many things that don't makes sense, and this is lest one.You can be an arcane knight! Reach for your dreams!
Talonflight
My point was more like, I want to be an undead but I really don't want to be a spellcaster beyond the typical Reanimate spell added by SkyRe. Becoming a lich is awesome and all but my character is more of a heavy-armor and greatsword kind of guy.
Boombro
So a necromancer? Isn't that, cool? I mean with great sword you can kill so many then boom! They are all zombies. There is also the mod smart cast.
Talonflight
Unfortunately, Smart Cast is entirely not what I am looking for. I'd like to become an undead (but definitly not a vampire) while retaining my human appearance and gaining the classic undead buffs.
Boombro
No problem. When DG came out with those old vampire faces, everyone said eww and made mods that make you look 100% human and still get sick glowing eyes. What color do you like, bloody red, honey gold or light sea blue?
Talonflight
I am not quite sure you understand, sir (or ma'am). I DO NOT want to be a vampire in any way, shape or form. I dislike playing as a vampire. What I suggested was an entirely new system, similar in function to the vampire and werewolf systems but with different effects. Boombro
It miss, and I know what you want. But most of the time requests go unanswered. So I try my best at offering alternatives, also keeps it the thread up for a while, maybe someone will see it.
