.esp conflicts and crashes

Hi! I installed Oblivion Goty on Windows 7 Premium and followed the instructions to install the game out of Program Files (86). I downloaded and installed Battlehorn.esp and checked it with OBMM. OBMM showed a conflict in Record Group (Cell) for Battlehorn.esp and Knights.esp. I'm having constant crashes and I wonder if this is the problem. Thanks for any assistance

These should run together as they are both Official DLC's. When problems like this arise you could always disable 1 and see if the other runs fine without it and vice versa could also be a problem with your load order (Pretty sure KOTN should be loaded after Battlehorn)

Make sure to update yor Archive Invalidation as well

Offical Content (DLC's) should be loaded last, until you complete all quests associated with them (that includes buying all furniture for the houses and whatnot). Once they're complete, they can be safely moved up in the list. This is especially important for Knights of the Nine, which will have some fairly major problems unless loaded last (unless you get the UOP for KotN)

BOSS is a wonderful tool for load orders available here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516

Follow the instructions via the readme

Hi! MorpheusDruidic:

Although I have gone through this Forum on several occasions, I was not able to find this thread until now. So, I want to make sure that you know that I appreciated your help and I thank you for it. It's been sometime now but the information here is just as updated now as it was before. I have printed the load order suggestion and I use it as a guide. I finally found that if I write my name on the search it will send me to another pane and writing it again there will show every topic I have posted. Once again many thanks.

Battlehorn Castle and Knights of the Nine do work together. - There are conflicts between them, but nothing so major as to prevent this; however there does appear to be compatibility issues with OOO, MMM, and FCOM setups. Wrye Bash can also be used to help resolve issues between the two plugins by merging them into a bashed_patch,0.esp file. Edited by Erotica

I have a serious issue with the CS. Seems that it decided to kill two of my mods some how. This is weird tho, I've reinstalled the mods from the archive (.rar) that I keep in a different folder, virgin mod files that have been uploaded to Nexus. The CS is not finding all kinds of items missing, Oblivion crashes at start if these two mods are checked and I can't uninstall or reinstall the *&^%$%^ CS! Any ideas?

I was working on another mod last night and while testing a simple door design I found I had lost all NPC dialog except for the guards. So today I diagnosed and tested and pulled my hair out several times till I got fed up and reinstalled Oblivion fresh, did the update, reinstalled the DLC mods and then went down the list one mod at a time to see where the problem was. Two of MY mods that are working fine for everyone else and myself (up until last night) yet the one I was working on that I suspected of being the bad mod is fine. Told ya it was weird. I even went through my saved games to make sure it wasn't corrupted save loading. Got any ideas now?! lol please shoot me and tell Bethesda it was their fault.
