Hjardra
Good evening :smile:I've been using the "Breezhome Fully Upgradable"-mod for quite some time without any problems. For my new playthrough I installed OCS together with the compatibility patch for BFU.Up to this point the game ran smoothly without any CTS, since a few days however they occour. I first checked the read-me-files and FAQs of the mods and since I was not able to track the problem I read through the great "Begginers guide to modding"-thread in this forum which prompted me to installing Wrye Smash today (as I'm still a begginner I have only used LOOT + manual sorting up to now). So ran first LOOT and then Wrye - all boxes were green except the above mentioned patch. As far as I understand from the box on the right side of the program, BFU needs the Dawnguard master above the HearthFire master. The OCS-BFU-patch on the other hand would like to have Dawnguard.esm under Hearthfire. oO' As I am currently quite confused and do not want to screw my game I would really appreciate help here. To see my full loadorder please click hereOn this screenshot Bashed Patch, O.esp is still unchecked - it is checked now, but the game chrashes nevertheless. edit: the loadorder was first incomplete - now here is the right one ^^' Edited March 10, 2015 by Hjardra
gromulos
your bashed patch file ALWAYS goes last unless you are using ASIS, an ENB, SUM, or the Reproccer. One thing I would like to know is exactly WHEN the game is crashing, before getting to the menu, after loading a save, or some time while actually in the game environment? Your load order can not be viewed fully the way you have it posted, in Wrye Smash right click the bar that is titled "files" then choose list mods, then copy to clipboard then paste it to a site like http://pastebin.com/ After you have pasted the info to the link above you can then paste the url link for your load order in this thread You state you ran LOOT and WRYE, what about TES5EDIT? The reason I ask is your problem sounds like you may be missing a master file or maybe a patch file ( this would be the cause of your crashing ) TES5 will tell you if you are when you run it you skipped a part of my guide, below 2.4) D) If it's not possible to eliminate all orange mods, you may need to one of the following: Sort the master files for the orange mod in TES5Edit Let me know if you need anymore help I will track this thread  Edited March 10, 2015 by gromulos
Balloran
please also include which version of SKSE you are using [if any] and a copy of the contents of your skse ini file. as far as dawnguard/hearthfires, the proper order for all mods is skyrimupdatedawnguardhearthfiresdragonborn any mods that have them in a different order need to be reordered via Tes5Edit like Gromulos said.good luck
gromulos
actually, THIS is how the first 9 files should be ordered, below http://snag.gy/CLPDO.jpg
Balloran
i was only referring to his post that has some mods putting hearthfires before dawnguard in their master order, not the actual load order of the game:-----So ran first LOOT and then Wrye - all boxes were green except the above mentioned patch. As far as I understand from the box on the right side of the program, BFU needs the Dawnguard master above the HearthFire master. gromulos
it's still good to provide a screen shot for beginners as they can verify their own load order against a correct one :)
Hjardra
Thank you everyone for your quick responses! :) (And please excuse my late reply.)The reason why I had not installed TES5EDIT was because I thought I'd take one step after the other - first learn how to use Wrye and learn how to use TES5EDIT second. Well I have to learn that's obviously not how it works. ^^ So I'll use this week for watching the tutorials on the subject. The CTDs always occour midgame. It takes between 45 min and several hours until the game crashes. I use the most recent version of SKSE. At the moment there are two different characters that are played, both started about the same time, and it is noticeable that for one of theese the CTDs occour about twice as often as for the other one.I'll try to include the current load order here. Thank you, gromulos for the instructions. :)http://pastebin.com/BjJSixWq47 and 51 are orange at the moment, the rest is green.
