damage threshold question

Okay, i need to know how DT works in regard to weapons such as hollow point shells and such,

is the damage multiplier made after the targets increased DT is worked out or before?

e.g.

Target gets shot with a bullet that would do 100 damage, he has 50 DT

now

the bullet is hollow point so lets say it does 2x damage at 3x the targets DT, so would it:

A: hit the target for 200 damage minus 150 DT = 50

or

B: hit the target for 100 points minus 150 DT and then be doubled to still equal 0?

the example is not perfect but i dont want to mess anything up on a large scale as i will be changing a lot of multipliers

I didn't study the math in it but if i got it right it weights your weapons damage against the DT of an enemy (or vice versa, depending on whos shooting). If your weapons damage is lower than the enemies DT he counts as "armored" against your weapon and it does very little damage. If it is higher than the DT of the enmy it counts as "penetrating" using the normal calculation (Don't ask me for formulas or stuff, I am rather bad with that).

okay... if the shield is broken , it means you do the normal damage to the target,if the ammo is HP then the damage is doubled.

if the shield does not break, only 20%(default value) of the damage will be dealt Dam* 0.2,if is HP,it is the Dam * 2 * 0.2 = Dam * 0.4 ,the DT only do the *0.2 thing, even if the Penetration is 15 and the Target DT is 16.I discovered this shoting in some giant scorpions, with noramal ammo 3,with HP about 4.8(Assuming weapon Dam == 12) if using 2x instead of 1.75.So,neither options.

So,if the target was DT and you use HP,the Dam will be Weap Dam * 0.4,else Dam * 1.75(or 2 in your Example)

Sorry if isn't very clear, but i was doing some scripts,so my head is a little off..
