cactoblasta
Is this a mod or are you talking about Bethesda's official construction set? The only construction mod I was able to find on google was for Tribes 2.
Abramul
If you mean you got the Construction SET, you cannot make new or retuxtured meshes with it.But how do i change the "look" (sorry for my english) on a item to example a armor . It stands nif file but whata hell is a nif file and how do i create a new nif file? How do i make my own nif file? If i want to chane the color on a armor how do i do then? A .NIF file is a NetImmerse/Gamebryo mesh. I can't help you make your own, but you can use TES4BSA to unpack the default meshes and textures (as well as sounds, and that stuff), and NIFSkope to view and retexture them. TES4BSA linked hereNIFSkope here If i want to chane the color on a armor how do i do then? I realyl don't much idea on how to, you need a plugin for PSP or PS that will edit and save DDS files I presume...don't ask me I'm just a newbie in modding. ;DDon't waste money, use The GIMP. DDS plugin for GIMPAlternate link, to same site. (Near the bottom of the page) A lot of my meshes and texture files are missing. Anyone with the same problem? I am trying to make a staff looking like a scythe. And since "Scythe" is a ingame object there must be a meshesfile somewhere to prevent it from looking like a big yellow "!". When i'm in the CS, i cant find anything but the meshes to the mods i've downloaded. Desperatly need help.Use TES4BSA, above. To change colors and textures of items, nVidia released a free Photoshop plugin.http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photosh...ds_plugins.html://http://developer.nvidia.com/object...ds_plugins.htmlShould help simplify changing weapons, walls, clothing, etc. They also have "DDS Utilities", which I haven't played with, but seems to be of not so much value for what we're doing. .NIF files (GamyBryo format) are harder, and require you have some skills in 3D modeling. But there are opensource free plugins to do so, most notably for Maya.http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftoolsIf that's not your style, here's one for 3D Studio Max 4 (untested):http://www.uesp.net/file.shtml?morrow/file...ortermax4.x.zip://http://www.uesp.net/file.shtml?mor...ortermax4.x.zip With that you can create your own 3D objects, walls, floors, etc, and combined with the .dds plugin you can create completely unique content.Maya and 3DSMAX are...rather expensive. You'd be better off to use Blender and try to find someone with 3DSMAX who's willing to convert it for you.
