Povuholo
Nature and the elements are unbalanced. The four elemental lighthouses are untouched. Should nobody act soon, mother nature will destroy itself. A guy named Alex appeared in Bravil, searching for help. He wants you to retrieve the Elemental Stones from the temple, and light the Elemental Lighthouses with them, so the elements and nature will be balanced. But... are Alex's intentions really that noble? Did he really tell you everything? And who is this Wise One, who tries to prevent you from lighting the lighthouses, saying you are making a mistake?--------------------- I like the rpg part of Oblivion more than the action part, but this mod is mostly action based. Not action like, fighting, but action like dodging traps, walking over crumbling bridges, etc. Some of the dungeons are "dreamworld style" as I like to call it. If you did the quest about Henantier's dream world, you know what I mean. The mod has some fighting, but that's not what the mod is focused on. I've tried a lot, but I couldn't get the voice actors I needed. So no voices, sorry. I added silent sound files though, so the text won't fly by too fast. And here are a few screenshots (ignore the background and weird things showing up) The mod is finished, if I would upload it now you would be able to play through the whole thing. But i'm fixing a few things, like floating trees, typo's, and other things like that. Xiamara of the official forums tested it already, and now Malchik of the forums right here is going to test it too. He'll find every little grammar mistake, I'm sure ;) After that it'll be released. I expect a week at most, unless Malchik doesn't have time to test it (everyone has his own private life :) ) Since there aren't that many quest mods out there, and because i'm sure you've seen me hanging around these forums, I thought i'd post a thread on it. Comments/Questions are welcome ;D
Abramul
You mention four elements. Does this include fire, or does it include light?
Malchik
Make it two weeks. I have had two weeks of very difficult circumstances (starting to resolve at last) but my cousins from Australia are staying with me until next Monday so I doubt I'll have much time before next week. I'll give it priority next Tuesday.
Povuholo
You mention four elements. Does this include fire, or does it include light? Ah right.. I remember reading a book in Oblivion saying how the old ayleid people used different elements... I'm using water, fire, earth and air (called wind in the mod). And should I lose patience I can still just release it. It's not that my English is that bad the journal updates and dialogue look all weird and out of place anyway. I doubt there are even any spelling mistakes, it's just grammar. And with all the testing that has been done I doubt there will be found much more. 1 floating tree perhaps... I'll leave the thing for a few days, test the mod once more and see what I'll do. I can always update it if the grammar is that bad. :)
WarKirby3333
Why are you having a moderator playtest your mod? Thats what noobs are for. ;) Moderators are generally more busy than the rest of us, and Malchik sound especialy busy. Why not find someone with nothing better to do. The Vulture comes to mind. WarKirby I find that offensive Warkirby >:( , I am currently busy with Project Spartan. I might give a later version a try. bcause right now, Oblivion is out off operations for me, trying to figure out who is conflicting with who. :D altho I am happy that someone actually called me "The Vulture" instead of vulture. On topic: interesting idea, will download it, in a later version and report any bugs

WarKirby You shouldn't call people noobs, it's insulting, for some. Some call themselves noobs, but that's something else. o_O I didn't choose him because he was a moderator, neither did I randomly picked someone of the forums. Ever since he offered testing my mod for morrowind (following clues on pieces of paper because I had no idea how the quest system worked ;D ), we sort of stayed in touch a bit on msn. I'm reading his book too. Oh there is probably not going to be a later version THE Vulture  .It has been tested enough to take out all the quest breaking bugs, and other annoyances. Floating trees is the worst thing you can encounter now, really. I looked around every exterior place that I edited in the game, and couldn't find any more floating trees, so you'll probably not going to see them either ;) MAYBE if there were big grammar issues (which, there aren't) I could update it. Other than that there will be no need because it works just fine. I'll fully test it again of course ;)
sleaaels
Good looking Mod. I definately will check it out when your done with it.I think ill not test "The Big Castle Mod." Very forward thinking Warkirby, you sure know how to make pathetic and stupid comments. No one likes verbal vomit.
Switch
I think WarKirby's comments were meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but it can be difficult to tell on the internet. Regardless, tone it down a bit please sleaaels. WarKirby, please be a bit more careful with what you say in future. Things can be taken the wrong way! (Or the right way, if that's your intention). ^^;
Povuholo
I think WarKirby's comments were meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but it can be difficult to tell on the internet.I guess. Smilies are your friend  I've decided I won't wait with releasing the mod. Today I will play the whole quest through one more time and if there are no bugs, I'll release it on Saturday or Sunday. If there are, I will still release it on Saturday or Sunday. There just can't be anything big I've missed. ;) Malchik: You can still test/play it after the release if you want to, and if you find something worth fixing, I will update the mod. ;D
