RoboTECH
Hello friends, this is my first message at this forum, My problems starts recently when i installed again the NV with the new patch. I install some mods (nothing fancy) and the problem is when i launch the game, there starts with a Pink screen (i can hear the music from NW) and then the game crashes. I've updated the ATI drivers (I am using a 4850 HD ATI) and I am running the game in W7 x64bits. Thanks
Maxlurifax
Bump for great justice. I'm having the exact same problem. The game worked fine until just recently when I turned it off to install the new perk every level mod. I've deactivated the mod (and all other mods) I just got no idea why the game suddenly started acting like this, I diden't do anything except put an .esp file in the data folder :S
bilarion
RoboTECH is your graphics card overclocked? I remember hearing that overclocking ATI cards in Fallout 3 causes problems and crashes(even at safe clock speeds). The first thing I would try though, would be uninstalling completely (and I mean completely, so backup your saves), then reinstalling. SickaSalmon
I have a few gig's of extra content and a reinstall would not be good; although i have all originals, they are still in zip. Lucky for me i don't crash after the pink screen, it starts pink then fades into the regular loading screen.
EvilDeadAsh34
I had the same problem a month ago. It started immediately after i changed resolution in FOMM. The only way I fixed it was to completely re-install. I used all my old mods too, I just copied them to a safe folder before the re-install then I moved them back afterwards, so i'm sure it wasn't a mod that caused it. I'm almost thinking it was directly related to FOMM. Just a guess though. BTW i'm using an ATI 5770 so it could be ATI related as well.
