issues with BOSS

I decided to try out BOSS (better oblivion sorting software) the other day just to see if it could streamline my mods and hopefully get less crashes. However, after I ran it, there was no notification of the changes made to my load order. I checked OBMM and realized that the load order was, indeed, changed.

 

The main menu loads up fine but when I load up a save game and the loading bar just stops at a random point. After a few minutes oblivion just crashes without ever getting ingame. I checked the masterlist manually to see if the load order was correct and everything seemed fine. I even disabled a few mods that may conflict and the problem is still there.

 

Here's the load order: I stupidly forgot to back up my old load order so that's why i'm here asking you guys :D. Any help would be appreciated

Did you try making a new game? Perhaps your old save might crash due to some weird and unconceivable s*** with the mods and how they are arranged.

Some of my characters load and others won't (specifically the one i've been recently playing on). I'm thinking it could b a corrupted save :(

Oblivion Mod Manager can save you. Go to Utilities > Save Manager > One of your recent games before BOSS > Sync active plugins. You can then either keep that load order or record it before making further changes.

If you use Wrye Bash, you can do a similar thing with that. Go to the saves tab, right click on a save that worked, and click "Load Masters" It also shows the load order for that save in a column on the right.

i did try the OBMM save file utility and it did work. Thx a lot guys!
