Malchik
HeLLL, I assume you mean a wish for ourselves as opposed to anything as mundane as world peace. What I most wish is for the plays and books that I write to be more widely seen and heard. I have had a little success but it is sooo slow. Not that I want to be famous, pretty much the opposite. But I spend a lot of time and effort trying to make a quality product and I need responses to see if I'm wasting my time or not. A couple of plays have won prizes and when they are performed they get well reviewed in the local press. Trying to take them further is an uphill struggle. Vanity publishing doesn't appeal to me, so it's keep on pushing them I suppose. A new short play of mine is being professionally performed next month - let's hope! Yeah - the wish; that someone who could afford to mount a proper production would see one, fall in love with it and snap it up! At least I have the ?virtues? of optimism and persistence. Watch this space - you'll see my name in lights yet! PS You want to disappear? Join a theatrical company. They'll teach you how to disappear in public. No sweat. On a more short term basis I'd wish that I didn't keep having to get my hair cut. What a waste of time and money!
Mojlnir
Ah, the eternal question. I like wesay's wish, but I also like to work for things so I might get bored with being able to resupply my wishing stock simply by wishing again. Though it would be nice to be done with my degree and out the door to a nice job. Hmmm...what would I wish for? I'd love to have a 5 billion dollars in liquid assests sitting in off shore accounts. So much money I could swim in it like Scrouge McDuck. Money can't buy everything so I'd still have to work for some stuff, enough to keep me from going bonkers. But I think my real wish is for world-wide respect. Everyone respecting everyone and everything from here on out. That would solve pretty much all the problems in the world. thanateros
I'd wish for a comfy 10 billion dollars and have fun with my life. That's really all it's about though, financial security, and I think 10 billion would be comfy enough. And if I wanted something world altering I would have to say I would wish for unity among nations, no borders, no flags, just one unified planet. Strange nobody has said to be immortal though. About the hair cut thing, well you could just shave your head like I do, it only costs about 30 bucks for the hair trimmer and it pays for itself after the first two uses. Zmid
Strange nobody has said to be immortal though. Na, surviving certain death would become boring after the 2,564,949th time. What I would wish for would simply to be comfortably well off, but not stonkingly rich. That, by all accounts, quite often comes with it's own headaches.
HeLLL
world peace is flawed. without evil there is no good. Yin and Yang my friend. Having heaps of money would be cool but after a while life would get tedious. I mean you want TES4 and instead of saving all your hard earn pennies you just snap your fingers and its there. People have more apprecian of material goods when they have to part with there hard earn cash. Although you wouldnt see me complaining if I was handed 20 billon dollars :P
Peregrine
Well, I assume that "I wish for 10 more wishes" isn't allowed.... So I'd have to go with eternal happiness. That pretty much covers it... if money would make me happy, then money I have. Love? There's the girl I've been dreaming of right in front of me. Power? Forget elections, and say hi to your new world dictator. Dying gets in the way of happiness? Well, that can't happen. And of course if this ever does get boring, suddenly it is violating the rule of my wish, and all disappears. So really, if working for what I want somehow makes me happy, well that's what I get, a regular job and income!
Guest
well if I had a wish that i new was going to come true money and fame would be nice but not necesarily what i would wish for i think money is nice but not necesary as like happiness is that would be my wish to be HAPPY. For me being happy takes olot more than money i need love to be love by someone special the person that i know i want to be with to be able to love them unconditionally and to be loved unconditionally fell safe in their presence and be able to probide the same feeling to spend all my time and use all my effert to make my feeling of happiness grow and grow every second and onestly i would not mind letting my feeling grow everyminute of everyday, avery month, year, and maybe the next century as long as im growing with the right person. THINKING OF YOU SARA by your CHACHO :)
