CemeteryN7
I found a mod a while back, can't remember the name of it but it was making clothes actually move instead of sticking to your every movement. Thought from what I read, it was a dead project. If so, someone want to update me on this, if someone is working on it or not.
majikmonkee
That would be nice. I've downloaded some armor sets with capes, but the stiff, non-moving capes are just too weird looking with everything else being so realistic physically. CemeteryN7
/bump Someone has to know about it. I'm not asking for someone to finish it, just the name of it. It's a realism mod I want to possibly pick up myself. I really don't care for clothing that is glued to your body. So please someone, I'm still trying to find it myself, but I'm hoping someone could possibly make it easier for me.
ub3rman123
Are you sure about the mod? It's not possible with the current engine to apply Havok to worn items (Shields, armor, weapons, clothes, fancy plumage) to make them appear to react to gravity and have inertia. I have seen mods before that rig clothing to the Tail skeleton, would that be it?
CemeteryN7
No, this was like what most games do today with clothes actually moving etc. I am sure about this mod, I saw videos for it several months ago, wish i would have written the name of it down. The project died because it was becoming extremely complicated.
majikmonkee
That's one of my few gripes about Oblivion aside from clipping issues - capes look stiff and fake so I can never bring myself to use them. I've seen a few good looking ones.
ub3rman123
Best example of moving clothing I've seen yet is the Black Knight Armor. Take a look at this video for a sample. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWvil7pxBQ4 That's what you get if you rig it to the tail.
CemeteryN7
No that's not it, unfortunately. The mod I'm talking about was coming along well, and from what i saw it was, but in their notes said that it had become to complicated and had to abandon this project. I would like to see this project revived, and in doing so creating new options for everyone.
