Companions do the darndest things

I usually travel with up to 4 companions, since one of my PCs is an archer and I like the backup - and as an old RPG player, I love the Companion health HUD. Anyways XD

You know, the whole "sneaking behind the bar to steal a bottle and then drinking in front of everyone" is something Neeshka has down to a T. I don't take her to Inns any more since she keeps doing that. Also in the version of her I have, her horse is slightly bugged. The summon spell for it doesn't work. So right after I get on my horse, she uses the summon spell, but her horse doesn't appear. So she turns on her heel and runs off to go fetch it instead. It doesn't matter how far she has to run. And this can take days. I once spent an entire Oblivion day fasttravelling after her until she had finally found her horse.

The other companion that I find rather amusing is Ramy. Not only because she is a snarky little devil, but also because she is not as weak as most people think. When you set her class to mage (or wizard, I forgot), she loves to summeon ice astronachs, regardless of the location. Ever been stuck behind a summoned, non - hostile ice astronach in a tight, claustrophobic dungeon tunnel? FUN TIMES! xD

She also does the dreaded "sleeping in NPC beds" thing whenever I sit down somewhere and a bed is in the same room. Preferably Inns with an NPC bedroll behind the bar.

Too funny! Just imagine how easy it would have been to complete the Thieve's guild fencing requirements with klepto companions like that...just sit back and let them do all the dirty work. I haven't tried a companion with a horse option yet but sounds like that horse causes the companion to do more running than the horse does! And yeah, those ice atronachs are huge. I can just imagine the joys of getting to stare at it's icey butt while trying to carefully negotiate dungeon passages. =P
