confusion about the nightkin schizophrenie

I thought when you found the the chewed up stealth boy next to the dead nightkin in the cave and brought it to Doctor Henry and then had lily test it, that it would cure the nightkin schizophrenie ?

 

Is there no good outcome to that mission? Is the nightkin schizophrenie incurable?

there is a good outcome possible if you can talk the other nightkin into being reasonable after the medical tests complete

When Keene runs into the room and asks for the stealth boy I did the speech challenge and won and the game ending always says the nightkin schizophrenie was never cured and Jacobs town was abandoned !..

then you got a mod interfering

 

I've gotten the happy days ending

Just elect for Lilly to be a test subject , you'll get the happy ending...killing Keene never made a jot of difference ( have played through three times )

You have to either get Lily to be the test subject, or have a Science skill of 90 and suggest to the Doc that he can use a Nightstalker brain to test it since the neurochemistry is so similar to the Nightkin. The second option will end the quest right there and you'll get the good ending for Jacobstown.
