Vagrant0
We've all seen forum games like this before, where someone posts something, and then someone adds to it... But, we're going to do this a bit differently with the intention of actually creating something worth while instead of just spam. The idea came about as a variation of the infinite monkey theorem, and the question of what could be produced by 20+ people working on a single document without any individual control of where it goes. It could be a work of art, or it could be total rubbish, it's all up to you. The general premise is simple, create a story, one sentence at a time. The rules however are a bit more complicated. 1). Only post 1 (one) sentence. Nothing more, although possibly less if it is deemed appropriate.2). After posting your sentence, you may not post another sentence until at least 15 other people have posted between.3). The sentence posted should try to remain consistent with what has already been posted unless there has been some logical conclusion that would denote, for instance the end of a section or chapter.4). No off-topic chatter.5). No random interjections, such as "The world blew up and everyone died, the end." or "Suddenly a big icecream monster appeared and everyone started disco dancing." or other such nonsense.6). If someone takes the story somewhere you didn't want it to go, accept it and move on.7). If a post doesn't fit with the common thread of the story, it will be removed.8). Forum rules still apply, so nothing inappropriate.9). Please disable smileys and signature for all posts (under options below) so that the thread remains readable. The second to last rule is of note. My role here will not be so much as writer, but rather editor. As sentences get posted I will trim, and/or re-order them to make sense whenever possible. Although these rules may initially seem limiting, the reason for them is to provide some safeguards against hijacking the story or anything else which might ruin things. For the sake of simplicity, this first post will also list any notable actors who come up. Every 20 pages or so will be marked with a compilation of the story thus far in a spoiler box so people won't need to start from the beginning every time. The most recent milestone will also be linked in this first post. <character list> <milestone link> <other info> Now that that is out of the way, I'll start us off. Genzel
The barricades and defenses were not what they used to be; the rusted chunks of metal and concrete barrier were prone to breaches, granting a variety of creatures entrance.

ub3rman123
Several tentacles were sticking out of the monster's distended stomach; not a common feature for a ghoul.
