Just my message to all modders and mod players

It is my opinion that with the vast amount of creative content you find, with how well made some mods are people spend their existence making animated prostitution or peeing mods that are shockingly well-made(To be fair Ive only seen videos).

My point is not to just rant but to point out that if all the people making animated pornography, made actual content for the game how amazing the game would be. For example if there was as many combat mods as there was for bouncing boobs and havok earing ect., the combat would ... f*** i dont even know

Not to be a complete jerk but every single time I see a cool mod I think about wow why are these people more creative than those who made the game, whenever I see a nude or sex related mod I truly have a hard time seeing how they not only spent the time to make it but they wanted to, its just graphics go watch porn or find real women.

The reason I made this out to mod players as well is because while making a mod for animated prostituion is the essence of stupidity, 47,000 endorsements.

So stop asking yourself why all games suck now, people with talent aparently got bored of real women some how.

 

Oh Yeah, and on Fallout they have f*#@ing rape mods, where you can be raped or rape others. What the f*#@ guys?

The old adage is 'if you don't like them, don't use them' and that should be enough said, but I am going to go on.

 

There are many number of 'Realism' Mods available, because many players want realism in their games...there's RND, iNeed, Frostfall, Wet and Cold, Locational Damage, a number of Combat Mods aiming for realism, a number of Skill Mods seeking the same and there are also the Sex Mods, Body Mods, Bathing Mods, Peeing Mods, etc...How are they any different from the other 'realism' Mods? Their not realistic all of a sudden? O.o

 

I am a happily married 40 odd years old mother of three and I use a number Realism Mods in my Skyrim Game, that includes Body Mods, Sex Mods, etc...and I am also not aware of 'fapping' to any of my game content, nor do I have much interest in watching Porn Video's and my private life is fine with my partner thank you very damned much. In fact I was very happy when the Sex, etc...Mods finally appeared, as I do like my realism very much so in my games.

 

Thank you to ALL those wonderful Modders who have given me the opportunity to add all these realistic needs and wants to my game. :)

I can see where you're coming from with the OP, but it's easy enough to just ignore things you don't want to use. Ultimately people will build and mod what they want to build and mod, and your tastes don't mesh with theirs. That's fine, it would be a boring old world if we all thought the same.

 

I'm more than happy that some of the 'nude' mods etc are in game. Cause they are 'Well Done' and ultimately we all want to see well done mods in our games. Do I use them all? No. Do I use some of them, sure. I use body replacers, because they make my character and everyone else look better.

 

If you really don't want to see all the nude and 'sex' mods, just filter adult content, easy enough to do. Then go on and grab some of the amazing stuff there is still available.

I'm not saying hey stop, I'm really wondering why and I use a lot of realism mods myself that's nowhere near what Im talking about, I'm not saying their not realistic at all there weirdly realistic.

Most importantly I was just ranting and being from a family not easily offended I truly did not think it was possible to get offended on the internet when not reading the news so I am sorry.

 

You said you were a 40 yr old mother, I would not imagine someone withe that description to be "fapping" to game content, but I can tell you most sex mods and nude women mods are being used by young men who I bet are'nt mariied, and trust me my generation is much much stupider than yours however you guys raised us.(Im a 25 yr old.)

 

Im not offended by their content or think its obscene they get used, I just dont get when your that talented why thats what you think to do, I also know how to ignore things.

Seriously though, I know where your comming from this, and I have often wandered the Mod databases for Skyrim, Oblivion, New Vegas and Fallout 3 lamenting about the wasted talent. Oddly enough, though, I don't see it so much in realism mods, or even sex mods, but rather in items, annimations, character models... I understand the whole 'individual tastes' thing, but when I see something to hideously put of place as an Asian schoolgirl outfit, it strikes me as someone walking into the Lourve and drawing a Dragon in the background of the Mona Lisa. Just because you CAN do something does not mean you should, and my Lore-Friendly outlook cringes at many mods because they are so... Conceptually inappropriate and a waste of talent.

 

That said... Realism mods aren't in that boat for me. Sex, rape, nudity, maybe some realistic bounce in one's step (not the absurdly big breasted nonsense on a particular individuals YouTube channel...) Are all realistic parts of the world, and while I understand why they were omitted by Bethesda, the setting doens't lose anything by their inclusion. If some juvenile pervert wants to rub one out while playing Skyrim... Well, it's for the best. We didn't need them in the genepool. For the most part, however, I think it's more about creating a more immersive, living world, were both good and bad maturity happens.

 

It CAN be taken too far. Pedophilia happens in-universe. We know that. But including it for that sake alone isn't justified, and including it for any other reason is just flat out criminal.
