  1. That's not due to the bFloatPointRenderTarget change. That's more likely that you haven't turned anti aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering to zero in the Skyrim launcher. Check that first.
  2. In all seriousness, sounds like going back to vanilla and starting again is going to be the least painful option.
  3. Go to Steam, Right click on Skyrim, select Properties, select local Files and then select Verify Integrity of Game Cache, see if that helps you.
  4. I'm no expert with Immersive Armors but I'm almost certain you'll find the nif files you're after are packed in the bsa files. You'd need to extract those bsas first.
  5. My next machine (which should be built before XMAS will be a 10/7 Dual Boot.
  6. SKSE you can check by opening the console (for me it's the` key) and typing getskseversion. (Yes all as one word like that.) It'll tell you what SKSE version you have loaded in.
  7. Are you using Windows 8 or 10? 4 gig is the max you can use with either of those OS's. It's not the card's fault.
  8. You could do worse than have a look at this page: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373/?
  9. You could try reinstalling the DirectX runtimes again.
  10. Make sure of 2 things: 1: Skse.ini's in the right place and 2) You're showing file extensions in windows. Otherwise your SKSE.ini MAY actually be SKSE.ini.txt.
  11. You don't mean this one do you: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/95/?
  12. There's a difference between Install Order, which is in which order you install your mods and Load order, which is the order in which the game loads them in as needed. It helps to keep that in mind. As for how to go about it: I always do big fixing things like the Unofficial patches etc first, and then other little bugfixes etc. Then I do UI stuff and THEN quest stuff and things like Falskaar and expansions. Bigger things like Frostfall, Complete Alchemy and Crafting or Perk Overhauls etc I install relatively late after I've done all the clutter and texture mods I want to use. With tools like LOOT and the like, Unless you know exactly every esp or esm and what is what then it always helps to at least run them to give you a base load order. You can then tweak it if that's what you prefer, that's fine. I often do this myself. And you can rest assured with save cleaner that it's perfectly clean, I don't have a huge issue with script lag. I don't mess with Papyrus really at all aside from tweaking fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS to 2000. That stops the occasional little issue like Uthgerd not rendering when talking to the stable guy at Whiterun, yet her voice still playing like she was there.
  13. I wasn't 100% sure I'd patched every issue but I had it all going well enough to make it enjoyable. Was a LOT of work but was well worth it.
  14. I've done Neovalen's guide from scratch a few times. It'll take a full weekend if you follow it religiously. Maybe a little longer if you add onto it due to having to do your own conflict resolution etc. And yes, Requiem is fun to add onto Neovalen's. Makes the game a real challenge. :)
  15. There is, but if you're not experienced, you're best leaving it alone. Those particular ones are no issue and you can safely ignore it though.
  16. I'd be moving Steam out of Program Files (x86) first. Just in case Windows UAC is causing issues.
  17. You might also find: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38151/?, Timing is Everything useful for delaying you changing other quest lines aside from the main line.
  18. Most texture mods like that wont actually have a plugin. So that's why you wont see any plugin for it.
  19. I always start with SKSE and any SKSE plugins. Then I add things like The Unofficial patches, USLEEP and the High Res Patch. Next anything that's a resource type mod. Then things like Bugfixes Then UI stuff Then Racemenu and any charcter creation mods Then any Followers/follower mod of your choice Then expansions, like Falskaar etc and any quest mods. Next is Weather mods and if I'm using one an ENB preset. Then you can go onto general world improvements etc. Stuff like SMIM etc. Then little specialized texture type mods like Gamwich's RUSTIC mods, etc. Then bigger texture mods and Landscape textures. etc I think you get the idea. :) I find it helps to find a mod if you want to change it etc if they're all roughly in the same place. Just be careful. Take your time, make sure a mod you add has any pre-requisite mods already added, And most importantly, read the mod's page. Load order suggestions are often given. And if unsure, ask. Most modders will help you out if you ask nicely. As for whether your lappy could handle it, would likely need to know more info on it and the mods you'd like to try.
  20. First thing I'd do is go back to Steam and check the integrity of the game cache for Skyrim. That will reinstall all the original ESM files complete with the ITMS and UDR's LOOT says they have. Then just do one file at a time. Start with update.esm and save after each one. If you've cleaned a file properly it shouldn't cause crashes like you're having.
