Craigsters
only the first move Steam itself outside of Programs I have Windows XP Pro SP3 32x where should the steam folder be moved to? it's currently in C:\Program Files\Steam When I moved the fallout new vegas folder out of my C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common and into the C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks the game wouldn't launch and I had windows errors, so I left it where steam installed it
bben46
If you are using WinXp the default location for steam is OK. All steam games must be installed in the steam\steam apps\common folder to work. So for you the answer is No, don't move any thing from where it installs by default.
