So you're saying caviar was in good supply for the lower class?

Guys, c'mon, think back to the foods the common man ate. They ate gruel and scraps of bread (Not the answer BTW), they were poor. What kind of foods today (That they had logically back then), was common to the nobles, but not the poor? I'll give you a hint, think food groups.

Question 9: The answer isn't rum. I'm sure it is made from sugarcane, but it's not the one I'm looking for. The drink is made in Brazil if that helps in anyway.

Is it one something like sugar and spices?

As for the drink.. Umm.. My best guess is sujamma.

No, you're thinking to high. What foods do everyone eats today, that the poor couldn't? It's included in our daily diet; we see it about everyday.

Sujamma; not quite my friend...

GAH so that was the name. Time dilation.

Even if in theory time would appear to pass slower relative to those on Earth, in practice we would still have problems. Like smashing into a giant, moon-sized space debris at near 3.0x10^8 m/s probably wouldn't be good at all.

In the Hawking's book that I mentioned earlier, I believe he discusses about two events, one being a future meeting of Congress. Forgot the other one. If we were to travel to Andromeda or something and back approaching light speed, apparently we could return before the next year's meeting. And if we needed to colonize a far away planet, going faster than light to get there and back would result in a return before the initial proposition.

Don't want to get too off topic, but anyway. I want my book back now.
