lincolnshooter
I an running wyre flash, loot and nmm. When i try to change my load order with anyone (always run as admin) of these the change is no permanent (e.g. the load order reverts back after the program closes). I have tried deleting the plugin.txt and starting over but it doesn't seem to help Here is the load order before LOOT modifies it https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Fz3vH31eWfMjROMm80aFpkZHM/view?usp=sharingHere is the load order in LOOT modified https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Fz3vH31eWfLUlkZnpDVjU1cW8/view?usp=sharingHere is the load order after LOOT modified it https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Fz3vH31eWfd3ZydUpkalVLQ28/view?usp=sharingas you can see LOOT has no impact on the load order (this is true for NMM aswell, but as I rarely use it it seemed sensible to use the mod manager i use most often) Any help would be appreciated. MotoSxorpio
When manipulating load order you should have only one mod manager open and running, as they may fight over possession and one will lock the load order or revert to its last known (cached/saved). Check also that your plugins/loadorder/DLClist etc are not read only in properties.
lincolnshooter
I should have put this in the first post; I only run 1 at once and the plugin.txt is not set to read only.
MotoSxorpio
I don't remember if Wrye Flash has this feature, its been removed from Skyrim's Wrye Bash: right click file header and look for "lock load order" or some such. It could be in any right click menu, so try in the actual load order as well, and in the Settings (little gear looking icon in the statis bar). Other than this...only having another manager open (even Skyrim's original launcher) would block ordering.
lincolnshooter
Do you mean the "lock times" setting? (i cannot find any other option). If so then the issue is not solved (and i have ensured via task manager that no other mod manager was open at the time of LOOT's actions). Also if this is the case can the Skyrim bash be used on nv? lincolnshooter
Just an update for anyone who finds this, after following MotoSxorpio's advice AND restarting my computer (which seems to act like magic) it worked (at least as far as i have played). Thanks for your help :)
