A bug maybe

I recently asked a question regarding what body a newly uploaded armor mod used and was waiting for a reply and then discovered that my post had been given a thumbs down. So I edited the post asking why the thumbs down for a perfectly valid question since it wasn't mentioned anywhere.

Later on the mod author replyed saying he hadn't thumbs down my comment and I saw just now one of the moderaters checked it but couldn't see that my comment had been marked a thumbs down.

I think it was a bug now, but at the time it was very provoking and annoying especially when I had asked nicely. Nobody likes to bad rated after asking something nicely, I certainly did not appriciate the experience, however, it was a learning curb.

But posting here to say sorry to the mod author who I had assumed who had done this. You know who you are. I've never struck a glitch before here. It's hard because sometimes one puts 2 and 2 together and comes out with 7.

you got a thumbs down in the comment section of a mod??

because as far as i know, every member can give you a thumbs down

and you can't really ask the almost 2 Million members of the site (or even only those that have seen the mod)

so just ignore it

some of the members will give a thumbs down to people who deserve it, and some will do it for no apparent reason

just don't take it to heart

remember, there are plenty of members here, and not all of them are people who really care

As it is normal members can only rep 5 posts a day. Supporters/Premium Members can rep 10. Anyone can rep any post but obviously the limits in place stop idiots spamming neg rep everywhere.

It's very likely someone neg repped you either to be an ass or because they misclicked and didn't realise. When you informed the author he probably plus repped you so you went back to zero again. It might look confusing but that's probably how it went down.
