theDeadRomantic
i recently reinstalled oblivion, but some of the textures are showing up in game as a rainbow sort of checker pattern. these are the textures used in the inn in skingrad near the mages guild on the doorstep just after you go in, and the roof in the same building (the wooden plank texture unless im mistaken). is there any way of fixing this other than reinstalling everything agian? theDeadRomantic
That problem seems to have fixed itself... only now i can't get my game off time-scale 6. I've tried everything, resetting it with cobl, I've used to console, I've even created a small script that should for all intensive purposes reset the time-scale every time it goes off x30, but nothing works... and no, my install and ini values have stayed identical to before this happened, absolutely no changes to anything. and then it started setting itself to x6. its not an issue, as such, i just don't like being able to walk from one side of Cyrodill to the other in a single day. Smooth613
You need to check the mods you have installed. One if them is obviously altering the timescale, dynamically. One of such mods is Real Sleep Extended. This mod dynamically alters timescale depending on what you're doing in game. And many of the default settings are a time scale of 6, especially when you're doing such things as standing still, sitting, walking, etc... Just check your settings and adjust your liking. SavageArtistry
If you get the rainbow-checkered patterns again, it's related to texture size settings in your game options. Just for future reference. :)
