Fonger
In previous Fallout Games Gambling was a skill considering the setting and side games of FONV Why wasn't this skill resurrected? secksegai
Well it wasn't a very useful one would be logical for me. Don't recall ever dumping into it, would rather have more useful skills over 100% In games of chance, the luck factor really plays a role - if only real life blackjack was as easy as it is in FONV, especially with a decent luck stat. Park77
yea, I've noticed I can't seem to lose (lk 9). How much do you have to win before they ban you?
Daynox
In previous Fallout Games Gambling was a skill considering the setting and side games of FONV Why wasn't this skill resurrected? ya..i truly wish it was... My one character is nothing but a Gambler and drinker...i kept his luck at 7 just so i dont constantly win....(thats just boring), my total hours on that character are around 35 or so...all spent in casino's...Gambling. oh..and drinking.. Maybe someone could make a mod that adds Gambling as a skill...that would be killer. secksegai
Even at 10 Luck, you aren't guaranteed to win, it just means odds are stacked heavily in your favor. BTW if you think constantly winning is boring, then why would you want to resurrect a skill that improves your chance of winning?
Daynox
Id rather have the Gambling skill to work on than putting points into luck...those points could be better spent else where..
Fonger
Id rather have the Gambling skill to work on than putting points into luck...those points could be better spent else where..been thinking of a lucky b*d gambling mod to raise your luck by 200 while you are gambling wonder if its possible . . . remember there's an achievement for getting banned from all casinos
secksegai
Id rather have the Gambling skill to work on than putting points into luck...those points could be better spent else where.. Luck boosts every skill, and improves crit chance (very nice for certain builds). You don't need a high luck, though unlike previous games, lower than 5 luck led to bad things happening more often. I keep mine at 5 and get an implant so I've got enough for perks (if I want stuff like scrounger) and wear naughty nightwear when gambling. Minimal investment considering the lack of available skill points, especially when compared to FO3.
