gutmaw
Hey all. So I started a CK file by checking Skyrim, hearthfires, etc, as well as a House mod that actually has an .esm...Amethyst Hollows. Been doing a bunch of work in there, but I now want to get rid of that mod. When I disable the Amethyst Hollows mod on MO and try to open up my CK mod i get the message... MASTERFILE: Missing Masterfile: AmethystHollowsMaster.esm"Yes to all" will disable all warnings for this context. i hit Yest to all and get... Unable to find Masterfile: AmetyystHollowsMaster.esm I then click OK and CK just doesn't open. What do i need to do to use a CK file that had originally opened with an .esm that I wan to remove? Am I SoL?? Thx!
kniggit92
Before removing an unwanted master from a plugin, make sure all dependencies have actually been removed. To remove an unused master file from a plugin, follow these steps:Launch the Creation Kit Navigate to File->Data Select any required plugins as normal Select the plugin from the list and notice the list of parent masters on right Select the master file to remove on the right and press Ctrl+Delete If you receive an error regarding the ID, select "Yes" Click "OK" After the plugin is finished loading, save the changesMore on master files: http://www.creationkit.com/Data_file#Removing_Master_File_Dependencies_From_Plugins Edited April 2, 2015 by kniggit92
