Kethruch
Corithalion abandons his search of the ceiling, mostly becase he accidentally steps on a plate. He looks down and picks up the plate, examining it for current or recent usage. "All of these shrines seem to have offering plates" he thinks to himself, I wonder if these are just those or a sign of more recent occupation. Acoran
OOC: Just checking, there is 1 bag right? If not someone let me know and this post will be null. Akkli turns to Reylas, "Well," he grins, "YOu did all the work so what do you say, 70/30? THat is 7 thousand for you."
Malchik
Kyrykki wonders why stones have been moved. "Let's see if there is anything underneath. If two of you keep the doors covered and Aeden the stairs. I'll look under the stones. Then I suggest we try the doors. Those who are not guarding can help me if they like." He bends down and lifts one of the loose stones.
Switch
Elbras nods and heads over to the left side of the room, drawing Seler and guarding the door. (OOC: Wee 2800th post. :))
wesaynothin
Avelyn walks over to Kyrykki and nods at him. He tries to shove his staff into any cracks, so he can pry it loose.
Sol'Kanar
"Sure, fair enough," Reylas replies to Akkli. Opening the coin sack, he dumps roughly 7/10 of it into his own money purse, handing the remains to Akkli before heading down to the bar. Taking a table, he orders a drink, sitting alone and sipping it. Sitting a few moments, he suddenly scowls and stands up, leaving the drink on the table as he walks out. Being alone, and having no tasks to complete tends to lead to self reflection, and Reylas doesn't care for much of his past. Leaving town, he heads for a tall hill a short distance outside the city. The exertion from climbing helps to clear the mind, and once at the top Reylas watches all the goings on, while simaltaneously being truely alone with his own thoughts. Acoran
Akkli smiles as he exepts the enormous reward for standing around wathcing poeple die, then heads down the to the bar. He orders another flin and sits there for a while. He tries to decide what to do next. One thought occures, he could follow after the other party, and see if he could help there. He considers it and unless he comes up with something else*, heads back to his employer's room to ask his opinion. *This alowing the GM to add a quest of his own if neccesary. Peregrine
To Ald Velothi Party:The top few stones come up very easily, as if they'd been taken apart recently and just set back in place. Underneath is a more solid stone base, which you have far less luck at getting apart. The stones beneath resist any effort at movement, and from the solid appearance of its construction, nothing you have with you would have any real effect. Unlike the mostly ornamental shell around it, the base stone appears built for strength and durability. You also notice a few scratches and tool marks on a few of the top stones, and a few similar marks around a couple of cracks in the stone beneath. The cuts are a definite contrast to the worn, faded surface, and appear to have been made fairly recently. To Akkli:A knock on his door produces no result. And your thoughts of alternatives provide little more. You don't remember anything of real interest... perhaps you could find a minor job or two in town, but nothing on the scale of the payment you have just recieved. And almost as if fate is laughing at the hopelesness of your position, you realize that you have almost no hope of catching up to the rest of your party. <ooc: yes, that's it for you two until the rest of them get back. I'd hoped to get both quests done at about the same time, but fate doesn't like me either! If you want, I can give you those minor jobs, or you can just sit and watch/talk.>
Emry
Aeden nudges Corithalion. "Can you detect if anyone is cloaked with an invisibility spell? We might have others here that we are unaware of...." She scans the room again looking for movement or misplaced shadows.
