"Pull back into the room!" Corithalion calls as the noises reach him. "We need numerical superiority at the point of attack. Heavy Fighters to the front in a semicircle around the door. Archers and longer weapons behind. Archers, get some elevation, I don't want to be shot in the back." He asks Kyrykki, "Let us know if they seem to be coming some other way. I'll watch the backs and the other door." He looks at the far door, trying to determine if it swings in or out, and looks for any debris he can quickly find to block the path of either the opening of the door, or to hinder those who come through the door. He spies the dislodged floor tiles and does his best to use them and the plates to seal the far door, hammering them into any crack he can see with his warhammer. As he does so, he notices that the door swings outward, and sets the tiles up as a form of caltrops to try to slow down or otherwise hinder anyone coming through the door. Once done, he will take up a position behind the others, in a place where he can either intercept a rear force, or reinforce the main force.

Kyrykki runs back into the main chamber pulling out his longsword.

"Come on Khar-tul. It's not a time for going solo. But let's not assume they are going to attack until they do. If there's an archer here they might like to shin up the statue they'll be less likely to hit one of us by mistake."

Elbras listens to all the footsteps.

"Hmm you're right. We don't want to be solo at the brunt of this!"

He pulls back into the main chamber and takes position in front of the others, holding Seler tightly.

Hearing Kyrykki's comment and approving his tactics, Aeden says "I'm on it" and heads for the shrine's central statue.

She looks up to see if there is a spot to climb up to and "sniper" the incoming attackers. (i'm not sure who this shrine belongs to or what the staue looks like) If there is a good spot then she'll climb up and take aim at the open doorway. If there is not a good spot to lodge in and fire from that is easy accessible, then she will use the elevation from the statue's podium and fire from there.

To Aeden:

You manage to find a good spot on the base of the statue to fire from. Though not as high as you'd prefer, it gives you a bit of protection and a clear view of the door.

To Ald Velothi Party:

Finally, the source of the footsteps comes into view. A pair of men advance slowly through the doorway. Their appearance strongly suggests a less than legitimate origin, their armor is a random collection of mostly steel and iron, with a few others thrown in. One carries a daedric claymore, the other, a daedric long sword and imperial shield. As they pass through the doorway, an armored foot hits Avelyn's staff. Its owner, the one with the claymore, looks down, then kicks the staff out of your hands, sending it sliding across the floor away from you. He brings back the sword, preparing a diagonal slash down at you. His partner takes a defensive stance, in the doorway, waiting for you to come to him.

<ooc: I'm about to leave school for winter break, and a two week trip where I'll have limited internet access at best. I'll try to keep up with this, but don't be suprised if its a while between posts.>

To Aeden:

Your arrow misses its intended target. Instead, the arrow hits low and to the side, deflecting harmlessly off the armor. But the attack causes him to hesitate in his attack against Avelyn, holding back his sword briefly as he looks around for the new threat.
