oldnotweak
Goodsprings a nice and westernish styled town its more of a starting line than a place to call home. so why is it that almost every modder can find no other source of inspiration for a home location? is it just an obvious place for low level character that have no sense of a challenge so much so that they are unwilling (or unable) to actually risk having to encounter an enemy before they get to there OP house. or does everyone really love that town that much? sorry for any/all grammar issues
secksegai
It's not terribly surprising when you consider how empty that town is and the lack of a safe bed in the general area.
WarKirby3333
1. starting location2. Emptiness3. low level access4. Everyone knows where it is, whereas you might do an entire playthrough and never find nipton5. You're guaranteed to have it as a fast travel marker
Fonger
and the lack of a safe bed in the general area. What?? Found quite a few. Beds are everywhere (yes safe ones) almost like they were trying to make using a backpack mod redundant its safe containers that make a house
Gashjackel
You want good house near Vegas? Look at my mods. I have a nice little home in the suburbs and a hotel in Vegas itself.

Beds are everywhere (yes safe ones) almost like they were trying to make using a backpack mod redundant its safe containers that make a house beds safe to sleep in are one thing, however beds considered "safe" by the game in order to grant you the well-rested bonus is a different story. Containers are definitely a major factor, I've got 12 or so in my Novac Suite.

Many of the existing buildings are not used at all so it's easy to take one and turn it into a usable structure with less risk of another mod overwriting it. Staghound
Well I reported over a week ago that 88 out of 234 building mods were sited in or near Goodsprings. It must be getting on for 100 now. So are there that many existing buildings in the town?
Deleted1744345User
My house mod doesn't follow this trend at least. I put it at the Yangtze Memorial which is not too hard to get to and is not too close to Goodsprings. I actually put a lot of time and effort into it, but that doesn't mean it isn't good.
