Burnination7
Okay, what's this TESAM Construction Set I've been reading about? Is it an advanced verion of the TES Construction Set? If so, where can I get it? Also, can I get some basic tips from the mod-makers of this place, please? Like I said, I'm pathetic. I'm only 12, so you know what to expect. Daddy Two-Foot
I started Morrowind when I was 12, too (which makes me 13 now). Also, to answer your question, if I'm not mistaken, TESAME is a utility for Construction Set that helps clean them and make sure that none are conflicting. Am I correct in saying this? Baphomet
Shamelessly cut and pasted from Morrowind Summit: "TESAME, or The Elder Scrolls: Advanced Mod Editor is a program that cleans mods by physically chopping out information from the .esp file. Basically, you run your mod through this little program, and if you find something that shouldn’t be there, such as a cell that shouldn’t have been affected or a conflict between two files with the same ID, you can correct that problem. TESAME works. It has earned itself a reputation for fixing bugs that would otherwise prove fatal to a mod. Depending on the size of your mod, it could be a chore. I’ve seen mods where you have to wade through rivers of code just to find that one bad file ID, but it really is worth it to know that you have a clean mod." Switch
Indeed... I've used it, after a bit of explaining from Theta on how it worked I managed to clear some dodgy entries and my mod hasn't complained since :P it didn't destroy my mod either. So I can verify, it works ;)
Burnination7
Ah, a better explanation. And without me asking, too!
