angel3181
Ok, I will try that when I have time and let you know what happened.
angel3181
I uninstalled all race mods and still had the issue so I finally just did a clean install of Oblivion and slowly added in my mods, checking frequently. As of now, I have had none of the same problems but there is one problem that I didn't have before. All custom races in the race menu have googly eyes until I change to a different eye. However, if I make a character from a custom race, save, load, and the bring up my inventory, my character has googly eyes again. Any ideas on that one? I double-checked each race I have downloaded to make sure I have the necessary files and it is happening on all of them but not the vanilla races. I have Aos Si, Chocolate Elves, Moonshadow Elves, n Dywyl, etc. Here is what the eyes look like: http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/angelwings0731/eyes.jpg Edited December 12, 2010 by angel3181
angel3181
Addendum: I still have the Face Exchange problem. I downloaded a Cute Elf Save. I made my character a cute elf in the console and saved. I used Face Exchange lite to exchange the face from the Cute Elf Save I downloaded to my Cute Elf Save. I logged in to the save and as soon as I hit tab, it freezes. I tried this a few times just to make sure it wasn't just a fluke or something. LFact
For the eye problem, make sure you deleted everything after uninstallation. If not, you need to delete replacement eye meshes from Beautiful People.

I actually just deleted the entire Oblivion folder after I uninstalled it.
angel3181
Ok, I figured out my problem. First of all, the googly eyes fixed themselves. After installing all my mods other than races, I had no issue in the race menu. I installed several custom races, checking after each, and did not have any problem...until....I downloaded a save file that I liked the face on, changed my character to that race, then went in to face exchange and did the exchange. I logged into the game in the new save with the new face and it froze. I logged into the save before I did the face exchange and now I get the crazy face thing in the menu when I try to adjust any sliders. So, that's the trigger. The face exchange. Now my problem is that I don't know how to fix it with out uninstalling the game. -_- Going back to save from before the face exchange doesn't fix it. Any ideas as to why this is happening or how to fix it?

Any ideas as to why this is happening or how to fix it? would uninstalling face exchange and running a registry cleaner to delete any traces help? If your not running XP its possible thats the problem (looks like an old program) and I couldnt get it to import squat using W7 64, just kept crashing at the last step. Luckily Wyre Bash can also import faces if you wanto try it: go to the Saves tab in wyre bash launcher, right click the save to edit and select Import Face to transfer the downloaded one. Can also click Revert to Backup to return to the original Edited December 12, 2010 by nisen
nisen
ok heres what BOSS lists Unknown mod file: R18PN - Perona armor.espUnknown mod file: sun_night_elves.espUnknown mod file: NoMouseWheelZoomKeyOBSE.espUnknown mod file: DesuChan's Dolls.espUnknown mod file: DesuChan's Persocoms RECONSTRUCTED.esp first one probably goes anwhere among the other R18PN, & NoMouseWheelZoom just stops the camera panning in/out locking up, so the main difference will be which race mods take precedence on the list DesuChan's Dolls.esp has already been added to the masterlist, though the update is not showing at this time. I have submitted the others to the BOSS team for inclusion, so keep updating that masterlist.Thankyou for that, Ive started using DesuChan's Dolls instead of Persocoms now, so deactivated that and wrote the userlist like ADD: sun_night_elves.espAFTER: CuteElf11.esp ADD: DesuChan's Dolls.espAFTER: sun_night_elves.esp ADD: R18PN - Perona armor.esp AFTER: R18PN - Schatten lauf Amr.esp ADD: NoMouseWheelZoomKeyOBSE.espAFTER: HUD Status Bars.esp put nomousewheelzoom randomly after HUD status (just easier to remember) but will look out for BOSS masterlist updates Btw, would you know about the load order suggested by the Deadly Reflex 6.0 install guide. It says install [all other ESM files][Horse Combat Master.esm] [all other esps]ONE Deadly Reflex 6 - Timed Block esp, if you want to use Timed Block *Mounted_Spellcasting_Deadly_Reflex_Compatible.esp *DRSplatter.esp *Deadly Reflex 6 - Combat Moves.esp BOSS puts the horse combat esm after all other esms, but the esps need readjusting: The Deadly Reflex 6 - Combat Moves.esp is pretty close to the bottom after running BOSS but the other three * are futher up. For now Ive been deactivating Deadly Reflex OMOD before running BOSS and Wyre Bash. Its suggested not to leave it active running Wyre Bash here but is that still valid advice, and is there any chance BOSS knows better than the Install guide about where thse esps should go? Any ideas as to why this is happening or how to fix it? Go to a previous save in Wrye Bash (not in-game), and right click 'Load Masters'. Now rebuild your Bashed Patch, checking all merge, import and race entries. This should fix the googly eyes. When you edit a face in-game, press the 'Reset Face' button before continuing. You are going to have to learn how to import faces with Wrye Bash and a dummy 'face import' .esp. Take a l ook here.

This is the correct order for DR 6 DeadlyReflex 5 - Combat Moves.esp ? See http://omploader.org/vMmJlbA/DRtestfix.zip for a hotfix for CTD issues Deadly Reflex 6 - Timed Block with no damage or durability changes.esp ? Use no more than one Timed Block plugin. Deadly Reflex 6 - Timed block and 150% damage.esp ? Use no more than one Timed Block plugin. Deadly Reflex 6 - Timed Block and 250% damage.esp ? Use no more than one Timed Block plugin. Mounted_Spellcasting_Deadly_Reflex_Compatible.esp DRSplatter.esp : OBGEv2. It appears that Deadly Reflex 6 - Combat Moves.esp is not in the masterlist.I will submit it, but in the mean time, add it to your userlist (AFTER DRSplatter.esp) as per install instructions. Edit: It IS in the masterlist, but with a different spelling. Here is the masterlist entry and comments: DeadlyReflex 6 - Combat Moves.esp% {{BASH:Graphics}}: NifSE (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21292): Drop Lit Torches OBSE (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16282)\preliminary placement. skycaptain says to load last, but as long as it loads after anything that changes combat game settings, the script magic effect and animations, it should be fine. As you can see, it's a preliminary placement, and is obviously being looked into.
