Its always sad when someone loves ruining lives for other people because they have none themself. You should see the hackers on Combat Arms lol Low rank servers have all the hackers usually, they have to make new accounts so often.

 

DUDE! i know right? i tried it and i was like wow this is a cool game....3 hours and like 20 hackers later i'm like .....wow these kids dont have a life or a sense of competitiveness at all

While this sucks, my advice would be to not make a public post about it, especially if he was using a known hack or exploit with MySQL or other technology. Doing so is basically just like broadcasting the fact that you may or may not have low security on the site and would just open the door for more similar attacks in the future. Just my .02.

As far as I can tell they haven't been providing specific information how the attack happend or what type of trick was used we only know that access to the DB was comprimised.

Even if we did know how it happend I doubt they would give the information if the mentioned leak was not patched yet.

 

They provided enough information to explain the situation wihtout risking more attacks.

 

The attacker would have been bragging about it regardless of the statement meaning even if we wouldn't be informed a large part of harmfull thinking users would have had the info.

I would call the cops and let them handle it. Or Dark0ne can send him a message and be nice and see if he wants to be cooperative.

Wondered why the sudden influx of spamagra (spam + viagra, geddit;) ) in my e-mail. I say we buy some, go round to this kiddies house and force-feed them to him till he ,umm, swells up and bursts.

Instead of something so harsh from the comments. I think admins should try and see if they can prosecute to the full extent of the law.

Wow.. It's sad that some loser gets off to hacking sites. Well I hope that this will not happen again, I love this site and I do not want any one spoiling it.

Yup, I also had a sudden influx of Viagra spam ads. At least I know where they came from.

 

My suggestion: call the cops on him. Let him know good and proper that he's been a bad boy. :turned:

The nexus should do one of those hacking tournaments where they ask people to hack their website and if they can they get like $10k.

 

Apart from the fact that you find out you can be hacked you also now know the way you were hacked allowing you to metaphorically patch the leak in the dam.

 

Now that you also know who hacked the site you should give the person the option to help find other possible hacking routes or. . . IDK if its a kid I doubt you'll get much money out of him.
