RitualBlack
I really like the endorsement system, as it is much better that the former 1-10, but I find that there is still a problem with it. Instead of a good endorsement/bad endorsement there should only be a good endorsement button (or even a give author kudos button, and record how many kudos the mod has earned) and than instead of negative rating, maybe a discussion thread dedicated to problems and help getting the mod working. The reason I thought of this is because modders such as Skycaptain, HeX, and Xenius have their massive mods (which took an immense amount of time and effort) blemished by those negative endorsements, and I could imagine the frustration which would occur if their file is given a tarnished image because someone can't get it working, especially when it clearly does work. That is why a mod issues/suggestions topic should be placed next to comments or somewhere on the page. This could allow the author and/or other members could help people getting the mod working in order to endorse their mod positively instead of worrying about having to help people individually in order to avoid the dreaded "thumbs down". This is my idea on how the rating system should be changed, and I hope that others agree

RitualBlack
That is one long article, but the weeding out of members able to comment seems like an extremely good idea. I hadn't read the article before, and had no idea a new system was on the way, so seeing it now changes my idea on how the system should be modified  Kudos LadyMilla, for posting that. You prevented me from looking like a complete fool  Edited December 12, 2010 by tttttt
