Jermungand
Stealtrecon, thank you so much for doing this. You are too kind. My greatest concern: THERE SHOULD BE NO LEVEL SCALING. I cannot stress this enough. There has to be CHALLENGE in this game for it to be enjoyable, and there actually has to be an incentive for levelling up. I think I speak for a vast portion of players when I say this. I would not be playing Oblivion of this colossal misfeature of the game hadn't been fixed by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. I'm honestly kind of shocked that EVERYBODY hasn't already said this. Other than fixing this glaring issue, I'd like Bethesda to simply do a better job all round. I'd like them to take all the things that made Oblivion good, and take it to another level. Edited December 16, 2010 by Jermungand
Eltath
I would like to see: - The other provinces of Cyrodiil to come out as expansion packs. (I really want this one  )- Skyrim to actually be big.... or at least bigger than Tamriel.- I know this is already on the list, but more diverse dungeons. Maybe some more quest dungeons. And please don't have only four types of dungeons: (Alyeid ruins, Forts, Caves and Sewers).- Get rid of the levelling system.. or at least make the game more random and varied. And please make bosses hard... The only reason I play Oblivon anymore is with FCOM...- More quests.- Waaaaay more weapons and armor.- Make magic more varied, so you don't have to cast flare 10 times to kill something.- Multi-path storyline, so you can choose to be good or evil...- More voice actors...- Maybe some creatures from very popular mods to be added, like Frost Titan from OOO... Thats all I can Really think of. When you get back, tell us of your experiences. (maybe sneak in a photo?) Thanks,Eltath
Jermungand
Oh! ...and mounted combat (of course)!
jack254
ask them to read my "how not to fail" and "how combat should work" threads please. even if "how combat should work" is a little overly complex on paper. other than this...mounted combatenemies with lots more variaty (mosters that bite should hold on with their teeth, skeletons surviving limbs falling of, realisticly flying enemies, spiders that can walk on walls etc)lore that makes sense- daedric shall be rare, glass weapons should be light. items should be more expensive.breakable limbsbetter faces, morphable bodies, TATTOOS/scars/burn marks/freckles/ body hair etcbetter magic (the system i put in "how combat should work" is realy good, even if you dont like the rest)beast races should look powerful, dark elves should get their baddass voice of baddassery back from morrowindcharecters should have a morale thing, if you slaughter a bunch of bandits- the last one alive is going to whimper in fear and try to CRAWL away. this makes the player feel goodeverything that people liked in morrowinda decent plot. a less one sided one maybei want over 10 gbs of information on my computer OPTIMISED i want multiple variations of the same armour (like morrowinds bonemould set)i want the landmass to be scalled to for times the size of tes 4, i want the mountains, not hills, i want cities, not glorified villages edit: elath- you were doing so well except for the part where you wanted a country bigger than the continent it resides in. (and the interiors of the plane of oblivion could count as dungeons ) Edited December 16, 2010 by jack254
Sepherose
I hope you aren't a troll, and if you are, you are cruel, but if you aren't you are an exceptionally generous person, and thank you, this is what I would like to see:-companions with depth and their own desires, kind of like fnv.- more than one humanoid companion.- a return to the multi-faceted and layered clothing of morrowind.- less restriction on custom magic and enchanting.- flying mounts of somekind.- a flight spell effect with nice animation and fluid control.- smoother and more natural animation, perhaps varied attack animations to add more realism.- better ragdoll and overall physics.- more varied voice acting with more emotion. Again, if this is real, thank you for your generosity.
stealtrecon
I've added mounted combat because its something simple and wouldn't be too much to ask of them. Much of what ya asked is a bit too general, already been verified as one of their goals or is just too much too ask. I'll be sure to take a look tomorrow at your stuff again and see what else I might add, I'm a bit tired now and am going to bed, and hopefully I will see more ideas here soon :D

CommanderCrazy
Decapitation and removal of limbs in combat. Makes for a better "I AM DEATHKNIGHT! FEAR ME!" type feel. And seriously, they did it in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, so it can't be that hard right? Edited December 16, 2010 by CommanderCrazy
stealtrecon
Its just an everybody in general thing. And I mean it may be too much to ask because you have to realize they are 2 years into development, so they likely have a lot of the game put together. They are probably working with making Skyrim as we speak and I won't be going until after my treatment is finished, and thats not for a couple of months. I'm just getting things done sooner and giving everybody plenty of time to suggest ideas. I still also have to tell Make A Wish Foundation my wish. I know they can get anything, and I'm sure they will have no problem getting me a tour and a meeting with the developers, but there is always the possibility that Bethesda may say no and refuse, but thats highly unlikely because then I could say that they refused to make my wish come true and then that would be bad publicity on the news ;) not that I would be that unforgiving. So as far as I am concerned, I am going to get my tour because Make A Wish Foundation is just that good.
