MotokoKHammond
So I am in the middle of writing a book enspired by Fallout New Vegas, the book plays through the eyes of The Courier & there journey, I plan to add companions to the book but I want peoples opinion. In the book The Courier has very grand ambitions, they plan to rebuild society, to build a new country, this means those they choose to befriend are vital in part, they need people who in time could become there captains of specific field's, from what I can think of there are a few things that are absolutely needed for a new civilization to thrive. Science, Medicine, Agraculture, Law, Deplomacy, Military, Econemy & Labour.Who do you think out of Vanilla & Modded companions could tackle one of these Mamoth task's, if you feel upto adding some input, please list what area they would be suited too & a small explanation why ? :DTy in advance. x Edited April 15, 2015 by MotokoKHammond
JimboUK
Boone, Arcade and Vanessa. Boone is an obvious choice for the military, Arcade has a real understanding of medicine and science, Vanessa is forward looking, someone who's up for change unlike the cowards she left hiding in a hole. JimboUK
I think it would depend on the couriers intentions, Boone is ex NCR but I don't think he's mindlessly obedient.

Well in the book the courier play's a very Karma nuetral poistion, they are an opertunist in the true sence, the way the book is heading the courier will work with Caeser's Legion, however in the book they do not agree with the Legion's view's, they would simply use the Legion as a means to an end, I could edit Boone in the GECK to not kill the Legion, however I dont think he would be up for such a plan, get what I mean ? SayinNuthin
If I was looking through FNV's cast with an eye to finding government ministers I'd look to the Cananites. Graham as defence and Daniel in the home office (is that 'the interior' in American?) Of course you'd have to persuade them to leave their current situation possibly by generous concessions to the tribals. But I can't see anyone else in the story who will have Joshua's clout when it comes to dealing with the remains of the legion. He's who I'd want dealing with them for me...
