Zentennen Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 So what mods out there delevel the game? I know of Requiem and Skyrim Unleashed that de-level the game, though as far as I've understood Skyrim Unleashed alters leveling rather than removes it. I want to remove leveled lists all together. Requiem does that sort of, I heard it still leveled some things, I'd like a completely de-leveled game if possible. Requiem also has compatability issues with some mods. If you know of any de-leveling mods besides those two, let me know. If you know what parts of skyrim Requiem doesn't de-level, let me know as well.
Boombro Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Everything is de-leveled in Requiem, and most well known mods have patches. What do you wish to use in exact? Keep in mind it the best for short runs (assassin, werewolves, hunters. etc) if you wish for a de-leveled world with a run that is meant to be long ( dragonborn vampire assassin that attends the collage.) late game is really boring.
Zentennen Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 I want a long playthrough, and I am aware that late game tends to get very boring in requiem, but isn't it possible to mod the game to add more dangerous creatures, that you just have to avoid in the early game? Also, adding mods that add quests with dangerous creatures gives you something to do. Do most well known mods really have patches? I haven't found many mods that de-level the game, most just alter the level-scaling, I'm looking for a completely de-leveled game. I recently found ERSO, another overhaul that de-levels the game, and the main problem I have with requiem is that it's so incompatible with other mods, and I need other mods to make late game more interesting. Have you tried ERSO?
Noortje Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I think what you want is this:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63349/? This makes combat harder throughout the game depending on the location you are in. For example, fighting draugr at level 1 is suicide at higher difficulty levels, so is fighting necromancers and well organized bandit camps without extreme care. Certain locations are harder than others instead of every dungeon having the same difficulty depending on your level.
Zentennen Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 @Noortje That seems to be more of a mod increasing minimum levels for zones, but makes them leveled after that. Not quite what I'm looking for.
Boombro Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 No I have not tired that. But there is this mod, less hassle than Requiem http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64595/?And this is new mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64690/? I should note that there are mods that adds really strong bosses you should never miss with expect late game, like the Inferno mods. Never tested them. I wonder if a mix can be made.

Both of those seem to be "semi-leveled" meaning encounter zones have minimum and maximum levels. If you are between those two levels the enemies will be scaled. I'd like a completely unscaled game. So far I've found ERSO and Unofficial Morrowloot Skyrim Overhaul that have encounter zones which aren't leveled (I think, would be strange do have a mod called "morro-" and have it level scaled and I read someone found a lvl 24 draugr in bleak falls barrow at level 1, which seems unleveled to me). I'd like confirmation though, don't know if this is true.
