MadzMasteR
hi, is there someone out there, that would like to make a mod that adds REAL forests to skyrim? i mean, there are some kind, of "forest" in skyrim already, but i mean, REAL forests, like really deep and big forests, that you could possiby get lost in? if someone likes the idea, and knows how to make mods, then please make this mod, it could be awesome :)
WinsomeMinotaur
I love this idea. I know one of the limitations is just how many objects you try to create on a cell at the same time, which could make a forest difficult. BUT I've seen a few tricks in other games where they make the trees (or part of the trees, like just the trunk) part of the land, which makes the whole thing load faster. I'm not familiar with how that would be done in Skyrim but it can be, it seems like a forest would be a great mod.
Boombro
Not really a forest mod, but you can theses mods: Tamriel Reloaded Trees http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58478/?Skysight - Simply Bigger Trees http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56877/? Skyrim will not have new woods, but this will does make the woods and forests in skyrim looks way better and changes it completely.

Boombro
There is also grass covers, fallen tress and flora overhaul with TR HD. it will bite a lot of fps running all of them together on low grass size. But it does look great!
WinsomeMinotaur
Nice, I'll have to try some of these. I don't think I would play with them ALL loaded, but maybe do like you said and just admire the scenery! I've been spending a lot of time with the collision off, just flying around checking stuff out. Good times. :)
Boombro
You make the grass sized bigger in skyrim.ini, not that grassy, but some sweet looking patches here and there. I have mine set to 50. Edited April 25, 2015 by Boombro
