rgx02
Sorry, it wasnt nif plugin that supports 2011, its this one:MaxTools for 2011 x64http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2687
erc1971
Yay - I got it to work. I installed the Niftools plugin, then grabbed the .ini from an older version. I OPENED the femalelowerbody skeleton, then IMPORTED the femaleupperbody skeleton (then hands, feet etc), then I could IMPORT my animation. Unfortunately 3ds Max is quite the complicated program. So I don't sit here on the forum and ask a million unneccessary questions - can someone point me in the direction of a good tutorial or article on using 3ds max for animations? My only desire is animation, that is it. I am going to start off modding a few animations so they fit the DMRA models, then perhaps graduate to making a couple of my own. I do not wish to do anything else. Thanks,Eric

Thanks. I feel kind of stupid because I have been on that download page so many times. The download link itself was cut off so I couldn't see the part that said max_2011_x64. I installed it and it works fine. For anyone else looking for the exact link here it is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/files/max_plugins/3.4/niftools-max-plugins-3.4.2.4632-max_2011_x64.7z/download
