Trying to run FWE

So I got FO3 off a Steam sale and I wanted to mod it because that s#*! looks hella cool. The only mod I have is FWE and it's necessary components. However, the game is all f*#@y now. If I pause I get stuck with a prompt telling me about some of the features of one of the mods, of which I am unable to close (due to parts of the prompt being off screen) or return to the game. I have changed the fonts in the .ini file and saved and that did not work.

 

In addition, I cannot leave Vault 101. The game crashes when I exit the vault. I followed given instructions, manually installed these mods, and I am running from FOMM. I have FOSE and it's files are in my Fallout 3 goty file under SteamApps/common/.

 

How can I resolve this issue.

First off, you have a lot more mods than just FWE. Everything in your load order after PointLookout.esm is a mod of one type or another.

 

You are missing compatibility patches for a few of your mods. Check Blackened http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18173/? and FOIP http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/4968/?

You are probably having a problem with FOSE, since you have Steam and the game installed in "Program Files" and the User Access Control is not allowing any changes to be made to the fallout.exe. There are instructions on Steam that will tell you how to move the game.

In addition you could try changing the resolution and see if that alleviates the problem with the prompt.
