Annoying pop-ups!!!

Pop-Ups is easy to block, but one thing that really really bugs me is when visiting a new page on Nexus, is that stupid ad where u have to click "skip this ad". That made this site go a few stars down in my book. Take it from me, I used to work with webdesign for 4-5 years and I NEVER used that.

The interstitials should be off the site now (for the past 24 hours). If you're still seeing interstitials then something is very wrong indeed.

I've had two of them in the past 10 hours.

the ads are fastclick. at least the ones that I got hit with.

and yes, the one where you have to "click here to skip this ad" got me earlier today as well. Tho I was on a dif browser so I wasnt able to catch it's info.

 

One solution is to block *fastclick.net from your browser, if it supports blocking/blacklisting sites in your security settings.

But if you block the interestials, won't you only get an error? Since you're being redirected to this ad from the nexus. Like clicking on a invalid link.

If any of you see an interstitial from here-on-in then let me know. People tend to get a bit carried away and exaggerate with these things so lets take it from now; you see an interstitial now then let me know (and on what site).

i dont get ads ont he nexus, not even ads on the side of the webpage

Get Adblock, It removes all advertising, and i mean all of it. I do have some exceptions though. I allow some for this site. But if it gets viral or 'wot' says its has a bad rep or Aggressive i block immediately.

I get ad pop-ups sometimes, transfering you to another site. It's pretty annoying, and it's definitely more than one every 8 hours. Say instead one every 1-1.5 hour.

I use google chrome.
