Dairren & Daveth alive!

Hi everyone!
I have a question for MOD-makers, if it is possible to make such things:

 

Dragon Age Origins lets die characters and I can't see them anymore.

I play Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Inquisition. In both games towns or characters die and I can't do anything.

Or even a whole town will be completely destroyed so that I can't visit (without mod) that town again.

 

I had a relationship (with my male character) with Dairren at the beginning of the game.

I wanted meet him after the battle, but now I can't see him in my "hometown" because the town is "gone".

 

Then the problem with Daveth. Duncan lets him die after the blood ceremony.

I tried to avoid the ceremony but there was nothing I could do, Daveth had to die anyway.

 

Is it posibble so that I can meet Dairren and Daveth again and make both as my lover/companian?

But if it is possible I want both with original voices, if the voices are not possible then I don't need them with just text-speeches.

 

This means for other characters too if other players want to see their (be)loved characters again.

 

I have met Ser Gilmore (Roland) after the town has been destroyed with a Ser Gilmore MOD.

Too bad, but I can't make him to love me! :kiss: He is still at 100% as "Friendly" and not in "LOve". :sad:
He is with me and I can talk to him whenever I need.

 

By the way, the MODs for Dragon Age Origins are very very easy to use and I'm using so many MOds. :cool:

Dragon Age Inquisition MODs are EXTREMELY hard to use and I can NOT use any MOD. :devil:

Sounds like these people could be brought back with a Party Recruiting-type mod.The one already available offers Duncan and Cailan and that just doesn't seem right. And it messed my game up when Flemeth came along with me in the Fade.

 

I didn't get Gilmore to have sex until like 100% and only in camp, even that is kind of a turn-off because the dialogue is obviously skewed toward female/male only, even if you're a guy.

 

If a guy called me beautiful and dear I'd belt him.

There is a script which adds Daveth and Jory to the party... but it makes no sense, as Daveth died from the taint. Dairren, as far as I know from the wiki, is slain during Rendon Howe's attack.

They could be? But do you know how? I did not know that Flementh comes into party (but what for?).

This company Bioware makes characters forcibly die, whether you

like it or not and you have no way, and you can not prevent your comrades die there.

You are also forced to take characters in your party, if you like them or not!

This is a BAD BAD idea of Bioware. Shame on you, Bioware! :sad:

The readme for Party Recruiting mod alluded that he may add more npcs, but that is like 5 years ago so obviously nothing is gonna happen there anymore. Yes he could have put Daveth in it.

You are not 'forced' to use someone if u don't want to. I usually just ignore Sten and don't go in the tavern where that harelip Leilani is. I use Ohgren (hate that guy) in the finale of Orzammar and ditch him when I leave. I like to kill granny Wynne, ha. But you miss out on exp/quests if u don't, tho

 

Uh, GMC you do realise that this is a scripted fairly linear game and it's the story you have to play.

You're right, Morrigan is a real b.tch. She wanted sleep with me or with Alistair when I

played the game until the BADDEST end ever in a game (just texts what happened to all companions).

I told her she can go :laugh:

I was forced to take the b.tch Morrigan with me. Her b.tch mother forced to take her with me if I liked it or not.

But after we was in a new town I said her she can go.

Bioware forces in DAO and DA 2 and DAI to take companions I do not like. How I hate it. :devil:

You cannot avoid the Joining. The whole game starts after you do it and survive. Sorry to disappoint you :(. If you really want, you can try that script, but it will ruin your immersion. The cutscenes might be butchered too.

you're not going to get a mod that will add either of them with the same voices unless they are willing to pay the voice actors. as for a daveth mod, I wouldn't do that one because there is almost no way to convincingly do it and still maintain true to the story. someone might could get away with a Darren mod maybe claiming he was unconscious and you only thought he was dead.

I would like to see a mod that lets you run into Daveth in the fade. It would be nice to have him say that everything was worth the sacrifice or something? He really got short changed as far as characters go and I thought he was very interesting.
