  1. That's really a shame though. Too bad Nexus can't come up with a plan to provide these ghost mods. I do wish the modders that created mods needing these missing mods would update their mods with a replacement-style mod or remove the need for the mod altogether.
  2. Try checking this website by TMP7704, a lot of the Bioware mods are there now. I wish there were more though. Didn't see anything for stubble. http://www.moddb.com/mods/tmp7704/downloads Does anyone know if this site is still active? I don't see anything added since 2016? But the info at the bottom has 2018 noted.
  3. Space Invaders on a coin-operated rig way back in the 80's. I must have blown 30 bucks in quarters on that game that one night! Went right out an bought an Atari the next week!
  4. I found this DLC I didn't recall ever seeing. I probably had it when I first bought DAO from bioware years ago. Then the game has been through other hands like Steam and EA, so now here we are and this mod was never offered? Only thing is it's not voice acted. The characters speak during battle, but the NPC stuff is all text. Is it possible to put voices to this mod? It's a nice little mod and really only needs Balen Harrowmont to speak. I bet there's enough clips of his voice in the main game to piece them in if you know how? This was a PC Gamer special DLC or something. In fact, one of the things you loot is an advertisement for them (just updates the Codex but I didn't see anything in there about it). Anyway, just thought I'd ask? Are there any modders out there that do DAO mods anymore? It's suppose to be a prologue to the dwarf noble origin. I haven't played through as a dwarf to see how that plays out though. Anyway, I found it at http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Downloadable_content_(Origins). I love mods that extend or enhance extra play time. This is a stand alone and you are not playing as the Warden. It's suppose to happen before all that trouble begins.
  5. YES YES YES! Your a magician. Thank you so much! I can't believe it was something so simple!! You're my hero!
  6. So I have all the Dragon Age series. And I like to play them all! Well, not at the same time, I play which ever one I'm in the mood for. I haven't played Origins for awhile and so decided to play it again. I have the Steam Version, Win10, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, lots of ram, memory, etc, etc. I've got the latest drivers etc and the game works fine EXCEPT:::: I have to play in windowed mode. Yuk! If I play in fullscreen (my preference), none of the text choices display. The space is there where I should be seeing it, but it's empty. I can still hit numbers to choose something, but without seeing the text I don't know what I'm choosing. The text shows up fine in windowed mode but not full screen! Windowed mode is too small! Any ideas how I fix this?
  7. Thanks so much! Never heard of this site. Don't do much web surfing since losing my last two computers to mysterious invaders! Guess I'm getting timid....sigh!
  8. Yea, but if you don't sleep with either, where are the bodies? At least if you sleep with one of them, you see a body, but nothing on the other? If you download the Ser Gilmore extension mod, you get a glimpse of what happens by survivors being dragged out and killed. But the original game doesn't touch it. I think a mod to save whoever you didn't sleep with would be cool. I hate unfinished business!
  9. Many Mods here want the Tucked Hair mod that was offered on the Bioware site. Since that site is no longer available and the mod seems to be under some kind of review by this site, it is no longer available. So how does one go about getting this mod to support the mods that require it? Are there any mods with this particular mod already embedded?
  10. Bingo! It is Rose of Eternity! It must clash with something else I have installed, dunno. Anyway, that's ok, I have plenty of extension mods to play with. I have had this game for some years now. I've played through (vanilla) as every race/every gender/every class. Mods are what keeps me going with this game. I am so grateful to all the modders out there that come up with all these wondrous mods!
  11. You are right about the Tamriel Trade Center. Wow, can't believe I put that in the wrong folder. Belongs with Skyrim. Dumb me! Thank you for bringing that one up.
  12. I removed all my mods and started a fresh game. I've added most all of my mods back so far, and the problem has not happened again. The big mods I have not installed back as yet are Vulak, Tamriel Trade Centre, King Calenhad's Tomb, Human Commoner Origin, Rose of Eternity Family & Country, Dragon Age Uprising Act 1 & 2, Grey Warden Weddings, and The Winter Forge. I have a total of 270 mods, only 184 of those are actually activated. After I make sure things all work well today, I will begin slowly re-introducing the heavy hitter expansion mods.
  13. update. I can't use any crafting components. How odd. I hate to delete all my mods again, just to hunt this down. I guess that's my only option?
  14. So, I know I'm spelling their names wrong, but they have such a little part in the whole picture of things. Still, I wondered, what happened to Dairen and Iona? You can meet up with them earlier in the evening in the library, and , you can have a sexual liaison with Dairen, but if you don't, these two seem to evaporate? I assume they went to bed like everyone else. And there's an unused bedroom across from Dairen's mothers room which could be Dairen's room? His mother is found dead, alone, without her lady in waiting? Why isn't Iona there? She's a lady in waiting after all. I wonder if someone could create a mod where their corpses are found....somewhere? Or a mod that has the Warden meet up with them in Denerim. I know it's a little thing, but it bugs me, I'd like closure on these two. I either want to rescue them or find out they're dead. You never meet them later in the game (at least I haven't found them) and you don't find their corpses, or find them as prisoners anywhere. Is there someway to create a mod to address this?
  15. I have Dragon Age Ultimate, win 10, and a lot of mods. They all seem to be working fine together. But, just today, I can't use my health potions. I see them in my inventory, but I can't place them in my quick bar, or use them from the inventory. The "use" feature doesn't even show up. Just investigate and delete. Would anyone have an idea what mod might be causing this? I've looked through the forums and can't see where anyone else has mentioned this before.
  16. I have windows 10, so not sure if this will help you? But it's usually in a file named Zenimax Online in your Programs x86 file? Since you say it's a steam buy, it could be inside the Steam/Steamapps/ file? The .exe is named Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe On my pc it's located as follows.... Local Disk(c:)/Program Files (x86)/Zenimax Online/Launcher/Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe Your's may be located under the Steam folder. My steam games are located as follows..... Local Disk(c:)/Steam/steamapps/Common/Dragon Age II/DragonAge2Launcher.exe Hope that helps?
  17. I'm not a modder, so don't laugh, but I have a question and/or a mod suggestion? Would it be possible to merge the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary patch with the Unofficial Skyrim patch so I could still keep some of my old mod favorites? If possible, the merge would need to be in a form where Loot would see it as there and the DLCs would need to be brought in since there's older patches for them too. Right now, if I use older mods, like Breezehome, Loot says I need the old Unofficial Skyrim Patch, but the newer mods say they need the legendary patch aka USLEEP. But I can't have both, they won't work together? Why can't the game just take what it needs from any files I have in there, do they have to be in patches?
  18. Wow! Not sure if embedded links works here? But maybe copy and paste will get you here. Amazing video of a choir singing the Skyrim theme song for Dragonborn! http://www.pcgamer.com/this-is-what-an-80-piece-choir-singing-the-skyrim-theme-looks-like/
  19. Make sure you actually installed them in Mod Organizer and didn't just download them into the manager. I made that mistake. Figured if I could see it listed there, I must be good? But I needed to right-click and install them too.
  20. These files are located in your Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Data folder. These are central to everything including all the patches. But Nexus wants these files in another folder as well. I couldn't get Nexus to run because it said I need the Skyrim.esm and the Update.esm in Steam/steamapps/downloading/72850/data folder. So I copied the two files from the Skyrim Data folder and copied them into the 72850/Data folder. Now Nexus works. I don't know if the 72850 folder is a unique number? Your number might be different? But if you follow the path I gave you'll find it. I didn't have any problem with the game loading, but I couldn't add any mods through the Nexus Mod Manager. The Dawnguard and Dragonborn.esm files are there as well. Hope this helps?
  21. Yeah but, no Teagan: Future Updates:More dialogue for all companionsOfficially add Bann Teagan (is only recruitable by console command at this timeAnd the mod hasn't been updated since Feb 2014. Abandoned? http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1617/?
  22. But that's just the point. Alistair doesn't lose his status. He drank the blood too. It's a double standard. Duncan didn't say that, once recruited everyone loses their status except Alistair. Not that I'm begrudging Alistair his right to be King. In fact, I usually follow that route every time. The Male dwarf can have a child and have something to tear at his loyalties. He doesn't know in advance Harrowmont is going to see reason about this child. Harrowmont could, in fact, shove the kid and Mardy down into Dust Town after we leave for all we know. It's just the idea that the female noble dwarf doesn't get any intrigue in her story except a little flirting with Gorim. As a matter-of-fact, that gives me another idea. Should we come back to find Mardy and our son in Dust Town, it would give us a reason to go after Harrowmont....
  23. Yeah, his personality (Daveth) was what made him so lovable. Wouldn't be the same without his voice. Dairren, eh...I can live without that character.
  24. Haven't seen one like that yet. But don't give up hope, you never know! Some of these modders are absolute geniuses!!
  25. But he's so cute the way he is! I'm just grateful for the mod that turns him straight so I can romance him too.
