jonahcandy
So everyone has heard of the new xbox 360 controller, right?I want to know your thoughts on it and its "inovations". See, right now I got a $75 gift card to amazon for Hanukah and my contollers are busted. Should I just buy a regular 360 controller or this new contoller? ------------------------------------------------------Links editedhttp://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c247/SymmetricMusic/XBAACBContest.jpg Edited December 30, 2010 by buddah
Vindekarr
You mean the Kinect? What you really want is the Xbox 360 Controller For Windows. It's got slightly modified firmware from the standard issue model that lets it run on both an xbox 360 or a PC with the included USB reciever fitted. I've got one, and it's served me loyaly for years, it's great value because you get a console controller, AND a top of the line PC controller in the same object, it's as simple as pushing the "connect" buttom on the appliance you want it to control, then pushing the button on the controller. Frankly the Kinect is hardly worth the cash right now. It's not compatible with any existing games, and the four or so that are compatible are all for very young children. So unless cuddling a kitten fulfils your gaming cravings, you're better off just getting the CFW version of the standard controller, since it's the better value. SandsOfTime404
Eh, I think he meant that controller they have with the two-in-one D-pad. At any rate, no.
