There are no armor parts like boots or gloves in Skyrim, it is full sets all locked as one like in fallout 3, I hate this, and think it takes away a lot from the game, if I want to have glass boots and iron greaves I should be able to.

Once again it is Bethesda nerfing the game, just like all the game co. out side Japan have been doing for the last 7 years. soon all "RPGs" will be on rails and all for the kinect, no inventory, no skills, no attributes, no open worlds, no nothing.

Say goodbye to RPG's folks, (sigh) at least we will always have Morrowind.

I heard it was only curiass, greaves and pauldrons that were combined. But it's bound to snowball eventually.

It's not a full set like in Fallout, it's the body armor, gauntlets, helmet and boots. Also jewelry.

Also, the crafting/smithing system could be better then we expect. Maybe it will allow us to add pauldrons and other modifications.

But if combined armor means more armors in the whole game and aesthetically more appealing then I'm all in.

Since glass was in TES 3 and 4 we should be quite safe asuming it will make another appearance, same with steel and iron.

it probably will be galss but not green i mean they have used ice as a texture. it probly will be used like glass items though except a white color or somthin

i dont care if we all have one pieces and cand go shirtless to showoff epic tattoos or whatev, or the customization isits still not as in depth but i mean its still a new elder scrolls game i mean , its one of the greatest games, and played a lot . ive played it for 6 years 6 riggin years!. i thi....i know that bethesda will make up for this (if it is true) with epicness easily...............now if youll exuse me im going to go polish my umbra

I'm almost 98% sure that there will be boots and gauntlets separate, because if you watch the e3 demo when he's scrolling through the armor inventory, he highlights "Elven gauntlets", "Elven Boots", and even "Elven Armor." Apparently from an interview that I watched with Todd Howard, he says that they implemented the Cuirass and greaves together because they can make better looking armor, and it helps the FPS.

Well considering it's been green so far, it's safe to assume it will be again. If they change the color, wouldn't they need to explain the sudden change?
