Vindekarr
I logged onto BFBC 2 today to find that everything I had earned had been deleted. This, actualy happened after I had logged out of an extremely abusive game-a particular player had been hacking, and shouting verbal abuse at anyone within earshot. When I reached the main menu, all my ranks and equipment had been deleted, aswell as my profile. This is just a heads up: be very careful when playing this game online. bben46
There has been a rash of stolen password attacks on various sites (NOT nexus - yet). If you use the same password and user name on multiple sites you will be vulnerable to this kind of criminal activity. Kotaku, IO9, Gawker, Gizmodo, Deadspin, Lifehacker, valleywag, Jalopnick & Jezebel were all compromised recently. That wonderful site that you all love to defend, ThePirateBay POSTED them (in a torrent) for anyone to use.- It seems that if pirates are willing to steal and give away games, music and programs they are just as willing to steal and give out your personal info to anyone. CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS - especially if you have ever signed up for one of those sites. Use different passwords for each site to prevent someone from picking up your password on one site, then using it to get into your account on another. Someone has already used the stolen passwords to flood twitter accounts with spam posts from those who's passwords were stolen from one of the Gawker sites and then found to be using the same password for their twitter account. Actually this one is inherent of the game. I've had this happen to me quite often. What i do is either just exit and restart the game or join a new game. Works for me anyway. I don't really know why it happens, luckily its not permanent. But if it is a hacker in your case, can't help much.
