  1. I saw something like this once but not from a movie It was an actual concept on a science show on youtube. If I remember right they came to the conclusion that while possible it would take a lot of willing women to even get a single gallon. Though amounts will vary due to chest size. They would also have to avoid many things that some people like to have like Cigs and various drugs/medications.
  2. So still about right as it blocked a sizeable population from protecting itself.
  3. Well seems French citizens are taking up arms to help secure their own city. https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2021/05/04/urban-violence-northern-paris-sees-frustrated-locals-attack-drug-dealers/ So much for European Civility. Oh and nearly forgot wasn't Hong Kong wishing they had the US 2nd amendment protection as well over the last couple of years to keep the corrupt CCP from taking over. How did that go, right CCP has pretty much crushed Hong Kong's Freedom. A visual aid for those that don't get history repeating itself, as I previously brought up in another post.
  4. Most gamers and pop culture people will remember it from this as it is the more recent popular usage of the phrase. Hench why I chose to just say meme instead of attributing the quote to an individual, as I figure someone would try to pull what croc has done and end up derailing the thread. Though I never though we would see quote pyramids this big.
  5. Nope, they will just switch to something else. Cars, knives, Grenades (serious was shocked on this from Sweden) not pipe bombs but military grade grenades, fist and feet, and other tools. I would rather get shot in the torso than get stabbed in the torso, as the knife can cause a far more complex wound leading to bleeding out, and can be done very silently compare to a gunshot. Lets see, the article that Croc link talks about the Colorado incident, the Indianapolis incident but doesn't mention that the FBI was well aware of this individuals and did nothing to stop it. For Colorado his family even informed the FBI and Local Police that he was likely to commit a shooting, they didn't even bother to check on it. The 19 year old at the FedEx facility was actually red flag last year and had his shotgun taken away by law enforcement as family reported his thoughts of suicide and it wasn't returned. He was even documented as having mental issue which should have kept him for legally purchasing any firearm as it would have shown in his background check. Again someone failed to due their job in the FBI's NICS department (Back Ground check). Noticing a trend here? Mental illness, and Law Enforcement not enforcing what laws there are. They are seemingly as useful as British law enforcement someone makes a "mean" tweet, send 10 officers to arrest the person in their home; British Law Enforcement gets a report about a gang of individuals sexually assaulting a minor, "Well it is the minor's fault for taking part in it" (Rough quote). Much like the the jokes going on about the FBI sending 30 agents to investigate a hate crime that ending up being a hoax. But hey lets not deal with the real issue known as mental health lets keep pushing the same BS that didn't work before and expect it to work now. (Isn't there a meme about that?)
  6. Some words on self defense from a victim of a mass shooting. That shooting she lived through is why Texas reopen conceal and carry permits. Though will make a small correction from HeyYou's post removing those five cities from the statistics US becomes safer than any European nation. As last time I saw global crime report, couple years ago, US violent crime rate was on par with the UK and most of Europe. I know UK had banned some knives because gangs were using them to commit violent acts, instead of having the police catch them and jail them for trial. Us capital had an attack on that Barrier fence with a car and after smashing into it the male drive jump out and attacked a Officer with a knife, are we going to see Cars banned as well. Never mind I just remember they want to replace drivable cars with self driving cars by 2040; can't wait to see that nightmare unfold after something is hacked and all of those self driving cars are turned into self driving missiles with people trapped inside. Oh and for those that are listening only to mainstream media which isn't doing a full report on it was an African American Male in his twenties with reported possible ties to "Nation of Islam" Group.
  7. Hmmm, maybe a woods walk with a Camera, or just time to sit back on a dock and just fish. You don't need to catch anything but time away from phone or social media, or media in general is a perfect stress relief.
  8. Yeah, more cops...... in a time when the left is calling for FEWER cops. Can you see how that might be a problem? But now, we are getting into gun crime in general, not mass-shootings in particular. If you look at the statistics (freely available on the FBI website), if you excluded five major cities from those statistics, (Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and another I can't remember just off-hand, all democrat controlled I might add, with some pretty severe gun laws.....Edit: St. Louis is the fifth.) The US instantly becomes as safe, if not safer.... than most other first world nations. Keep in mind, that most shootings are happening in what are already 'high crime' areas, so it really shouldn't come as a surprise. Would adding more guns to those areas decrease the number of shootings? Not very likely. Give the criminals better weapons, and they will tend to want to use them...... Several of those cities (including washington DC) have already tried a flat out ban on certain types of firearms. (pistols being right up there on the list, as they are the most common weapon used in gun crimes) and it really didn't make much difference at all. The criminals were still able to get their guns. That shouldn't have been a surprise either..... Folks that are already doing something illegal, really aren't going to care that there is yet another law that they are breaking. Leave it to politicians to believe otherwise...... Something in support of what you said HeyYou
  9. Yeah, south side of Chicago sees a 'mass shooting' just about twice a week....... and those statistics are freely available in the chicago newspapers. Mass Shootings (at least, the 'real' ones) are indeed a problem, but, banning a selection of weapons, or large magazines, isn't the answer, as it really won't make any difference. The bulk of mass shooters use pistols, or shotguns. But of course, the liberal press will hype any shooting that involves one their so-called "assault rifles"...... I would also point out, that a fair few of the mass shooters had owned their weapons, regardless of what it was.... for years before actually committing a crime with it. A few more should not have had their weapons AT ALL, but, either someone in the government (Air Force, I am looking at YOU.....) or THEIR PARENTS screwed up. (Newtown shooter.... history of mental issues, but, his MOM bought the rifle for him.) Besides all that, it has already been proven, quite effectively, that banning something, does NOT make it go away. All it does is create a black market, and another income stream for other criminals. If folks want one, they WILL be able to get one, regardless of the laws. Maybe if we actually enforced the laws that are already on the books, it might help. Like, folks with a history of mental problems are not permitted to purchase/own/possess firearms......... That ones been in the books for decades. Working real good, ain't it. Considering that Colorado has Universal Back ground checks that completely over looked his guy shouldn't have a gun, nor the calls from his Family to Law Enforcement about him planning to use a gun in a kill spree get the Law Enforcement Agencies to use Colorado's Red Flag Law to take his firearms till they could find out if what is family call in about was true. But hey it isn't really about legislating the real problem away, it is about removing peoples right to say no this is wrong and won't fly with us.
  10. Stock Ruger 556, purchased legally on March 16th after passing his background check. He was Syrian born but lived in the US for most his life apparently, wonder if Biden air striking Syria had anything to do with this guy doing what he did. *edit add Seems he was left leaning individual from some of statements made on his social media before it was deleted by Facebook. Some reports suggest he had ISIS sympathies *
  11. Oh I have been ignoring him, I just put that post there in addition to what ben said and vent a bit.
  12. 200,000 jobs ended with a single EO. The workers on the main Keystone pipeline, the workers on the branching off lines, the people that were supporting those jobs, and even working on the infrastructure for those later parts of the job. I can't remember the amount for the wall work, at least the people that were supporting those workers still have others requiring their services, as their not in fly over states like 90% of the Keystone pipeline. As for sending troops to Syria to helping protect the building of the Russian pipeline. (Who is the Russian asset again?) Oh and while we are cutting jobs let's invite another million people into the country while skipping legal procedure for legal entry, let's skip the covid tests (Look up McAllen Texas), and lets try and give 11 million illegals already in the US citizenship without vetting them for criminal active other than illegally crossing the border. Oh and let us tear down a wall that we sunk large sum of money into which ICE said help cut thousand of trafficking routes (Human and Drug) down to a couple hundred routes. Heaven forbid people die of fentanyl (In one year ICE stop enough illegal fentanyl from entering the country that the total captured could kill all 325 Million+ americans 5 times over). Oh and lets not forget letting Genetic Men into female sports because they Identify as women, even if they didn't take the surgery. It is not like it will turn out like that competition where a male who couldn't cut it in the male league suddenly said he is female joined the female league and went straight to number one by breaking their skulls in the ring. There is much more but ,,|,, the whole bidden administration and the puppet masters with their hand up their collective ass.
  13. Little double post there HeyYou, and as far as I know Japan doesn't have a party that advocates that, but I am not that deep into their politics. Only catch word of what is going on over there when it intersects certain interests in both entertainment (Video games and Anime) and sciences, with a passing interest in culture as it often relates to the other interests. As for the people that talked about it the subject was Gaijin Goomba (Former English teacher in japan, and someone that delved deep into their culture), The Anime Man (japanese- American currently living in Japan) , Gigguk, and a couple others that I can't remember their channel names.
  14. Not much of a platform when all parties agree that people need to stop marrying their waifus and marry a real woman and get to make babies.
  15. Well their issue is their low birth rate, for their ~126 million people. The age chart for the country looks nearly like an upside down pyramid with a large part of the population is in the 50+ age group and narrows quite a bit in the under 20 age group. I heard from someone that is familiar with Japan culture and worked as a teacher there for awhile, he sees the societal pressure is one of the key issues there that drives people to become over work and neglect dating or break contact and get way to much into escapism. So their governments push is attempt to fix something but not in the best manner to fix it, in some cases it just makes the issue worse. (Pretty much any governments attempt to fix something that isn't properly understood usually fails.)
  16. Perraine, most people in the rural area of the US receive their first firearm instructions from their father quite early on. I was about 8 years old when I had gotten my first instructions but didn't fire the weapon yet, was instructed on the basics of cleaning, preserving, and storage of a firearm. It wasn't till I was between 10 and 12 that got a BB gun and a review on weapon discipline and edicate. I am fine with there being gun licenses; however after going into history as well as looking at history unfold in certain countries with registration programs I have swayed against it as brutal regimes went into power after using the registry to do gun grabs before placing civilians under boot. As for the "Ministry of Truth" well their claims of not enough to change the election has been proven false up in New Hampshire the machines up there were found to be swapping votes. This was found when a republican won by 24 votes and the democrat demanded a recount well during the recount in this small district they found the republican didn't win by 24 votes she won by 324 votes. So they audited all the dominion machines in the state they found the machines shifted the vote by 8% against all the republicans candidates. Look up Windham New Hampshire on alternate video uploads as youtube has taken down the video for "Violating Community Guidelines" and this video between the county Treasury (the people that receive the ballots after election) and a reporter.
  17. Heard a little bit ago, 1 reported died of heart attack after being tear gassed, 1 trampled not sure when, no idea about the other one. Edit add seems the 3rd was medical related as well, leaving the 4th as the one that got shot.
  18. Saw it from a video taken, there are two conflicting ID reports of who it was, one report was it was a 16 year old, the other report is she is a 14 year vet of the US air force, however she was shot in the neck by someone (Likely Secrete Service of FBI (did see the back of one Black jacket that had FB in yellow on the back of it) while escorting Senators out of the Chambers) inside the hallway leading to the stairwell where she was either trying to get through the little window (while right by a cop who was ignoring her). No one in the hallway seemed to get violent most seemed to be just yelling. Other than 30 people dressed in black attacking while wearing some US flags, (reportedly by some retired FBI they were antfi) DC PD I didn't seem much violence. Ticks me off that members of the press compared what happened today to Pearl Harbor, or 9/11 the building wasn't set on fire, no other buildings were attacked (from video seen after people were told to leave), just a crap load of people pretty much going Rabble Rabble and waving flags. What is worse Trump put out a tweet telling people to calm down and go home and it got deleted by Twitter in minutes, which was posted minutes after it was reported people rushing the Congress building.
  19. This is the first time I read a text like that and I think images in a description should be limited to let say 3-5 images. The last part doesn't have anything to do with the forum link bug but yes I do agree, as I have encountered some with over 100 images.
  20. English only Keyboard, and this occurred only on the Image share section. Will link to an image that I will not fix the post. And there, here my Post on this Image post https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/772494?BH=0 The process was Posting Link using Insert Link UI brought up the button. I have had it occur with copying the link from the where it placed it to where I wanted it, however I have also had it occur when it placed it where I wanted it. However that doesn't always cause the issue all the time.
  21. Hmm found an odd bug when using the linking tool in image share section of the Skyrim (like others as well) after submitting a post it will place a ? next to the url link when it wasn't in the post itself on initial posting. It will only appear after the post was submitted. I have been going back and removing the ? from the most it was added to.
  22. @Heyyou OP is talking about CD Projekt Red's latest game Cyberpunk 2077 which I have heard has been buggy. However, this is kind of expected from the team as this is their second "AAA" game in total their first being Witcher III. Their first game being the First witcher game back in 2007 was often called Eurojank till the Enhanced Edition came out in 2008 and fixed most of the games bugs and brought up the games graphical fidelity to a late 2000 standard. As for Cyberpunk it has been in development before Witcher III was released has been hyped up way to much by the fans and a bit from the studio itself. Furthermore, fans and game journos were pushing hard and criticizing CDPR over delays, crunch time (heavily by Journalist) these factors likely lead to any investors in the company to put pressure on the studio to get the game out, and finish the polishing and bug fixing in patches over time.
  23. @MrJoseCuervo some people love holding this up as the "high" standard, so I stated it as a big middle finger to those people.
  24. That is pretty good Pagafyr. Did you come up with that while reading through or did you work on it before with Heyyou and Jose in mind, but I made the latest post that covered the same idea?
