bryman1970
I heard there were some mods that allowed the player to earn money, such as a business of some sort. I was just wondering what , if any, was out there thats's decent and reliable. I'm also using a mod in which the author also suggested using something called 'Carry Sacks'. These sacks allowed me to store all my loot in one bag, and in the case of a fight, I could drop the sack, relieving me of the fatigue and encumberance penalties i'd otherwise suffer by carrying these items. Unfortunately, the link to this mod said the author had disabled the option to download it at that time. Is there anything similar out there that I CAN download that would do the same thing? Kjkirimi
If you want a sack similar to that use Bag of Holding. This bag allows you to store as many items as you want in it while also nullifying their weight.http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4065
bryman1970
That's a great mod. It does seem like a cheat though. I'm trying not to use Fast Travel and keep the game as realistic as possible. I'll use that if I can't find anything else. Thanks for the link though. I was possibly hoping there would be some sort of backpack/sack-type mods out there. I'm not into modding for Oblivion yet, but I was thinking a player could end up finding a bunch of loot and leaving it somewhere. After reaching a city or town, he could possibly hire some sort of pack guar or even some mercenaries or whatever to go with him just to help carry the treasure back into town. Kind of like the old kings used to have, servants carrying their belongings when they traveled. I wonder if there's anything like that out there, ar any aspirations to do anything like it. Kjkirimi
If you want something like this, download a companion since you're not into modding. They can help you in a battle, carry your loot no matter how big it is, they never wander unless you tell them to and sneak when you're sneaking so you won't be easily detected. Take a look at this link if you're interested. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7819
bryman1970
I guess i'll use the Bag Of Holding. After all, I did have to fight my way through a bunch of bandits, ghosts, skeltetons, and a lich. So it's not like I just got it for free. I don't feel like i'm cheating so much anymore. I'll most likely use that companion mod too, but i'll wait until i'm higher in level. Thanks for the links.

bryman1970
Lol. I was actually hping for something a bit more realistic and honest. I wish I could do that in real life, though. Then again, doesn't everyone? I know Morrowind had a few inns that the player could purchase, as well as a mine. I wasn't sure if anyone had done anything like that for Oblivion. ub3rman123
Try taking up alchemy. By looting every plant you see, turning them into potions, and selling them, you'll soon have enough gold to melt down and recreate the White Gold Tower in actual gold.
