Oblivion crashes when I map travel

I started having this problem yesterday. I reinstalled Oblivion yesterday and installed SI and the plugins along with many mods. I can start it fine and play it fine. When I tried map traveling from the waterfront district to the imperial sewers it crashed.. But today (after turning my comp back on) I could map travel just fine.. But whenever I try to map travel To Weynon Priory or any other cities it crashes. I've never been outside the IC so I can't test it on another location. Do you think it's a mod problem? I use OBMM and OBSE and I used BOSS to fix the load order but it still continues. Any thoughts? Also, how can I post the list of my mods here w/o having to type em one by one? Thanks.

Well BOSS does not fix every single issue. I do not use it myself and I never seem to have these problems. But instead why don't you just try walking to these locations. I bet you would start to appreciate your game more when you are able to see the beautiful scenery and then have a wolf jump out of nowhere to bite your face off. See sometimes a little realism really is not all that bad. And plus I think you made a big mistake. That mistake being that you might have installed to many mods at once. I call that overloading but then again I am a nerd lol. But the point here is that when you reinstall the game, don't pack it down with mods right off the bat. Just install your basics, then slowly work your way up. Don't install every Overhaul you can get your hands on right off the bat either.

 

I am not trying to tell you how to run your game or anything, but this might be the issue. But that's a speculation. Just try slowly working your way up and see what that does. If that does not fix the problem, then I recommend you just walk to the location that you want to get to. I believe that is what we humans have done for thousands of years so I think you will be able to spare a fifteen minute, or twenty minute run just to get to another city or location.

Well, I've literally done ever quest in this game mulitple times and have explored every bit of it... walking around everywhere will eventually get tedious.. There has gotta be a fix for this... Also, I activated each mod separately and loaded the game and played for a couple seconds.. So its not like I overloaded the game or anything..

Alright well I can't walk anywhere either.. It crashes anytime it loads a new exterior area... ugh.. suggestions?

I disabled Harvest Containers and Flora and map traveled fine.. So I will post any update if I get another related crash..

 

Edit: Scratch that... I guess that was just a lucky map travel... ugh...

So most of yesterday after deactivating Francesco's optional items and creatures I could play just fine... But now the problem has come up again... I'm starting to think it isn't a mod problem, since it works sometimes and sometimes doesn't... Please.. Any help would be great..

Ok well here is what I can do for you and if this does not work then the Gods just really do not want you playing this game lol. It will require you to reinstall the game again. But do it exactly as bben instructs. This will give you a rundown on the safest and cleanest way to uninstall and reinstall Oblivion without me having to tell you. It's very handy and very accurate, and very very very useful. It has helped me many many times in the past so here you go:
