@WeissYohji: Except that since the spell haven't disappear this is ont a question of diversity. If you count enchanting and maybe alchemy, magic already has 6 or 7 skill. If you add one there will be too much magic skills. And with their system of specialisation there can't put too much skill because if there is the player will never be able to specialise. Well, I suppose that's what they had in mind but there also is this story of "mystical magic" which is stupid by definition. Edited by Any_ILL

Removing Mysticism was a VERY bad move!

Stop dumbing everything down, Bethesda! We gamers are not stupid. We can learn more diverse skill sets if you'd just let us.

Honestly I think removing Mysticism wasn't a bad move. While the spells are useful, they can easily be integrated into the other magic skill tiers.

The spells will remain diverse, the skill requirements wont be. Any moron can learn the skills, using the spells correctly and to their advantage is another thing.

apparently, the Facebook Account that was supposedly Todd Howard is confirmed to be fake, which then makes some statements in this thread false:

- Will there be a Dev Kit? : Unkown

- Will the world be larger than in previous games? : Unkown

So, this Facebook user have fooled me, and a lot of other people, but hopefully, both those statements are still true.

I could have sworn that Mr. Howard said in a video interview that they are working on a "Creation Set" so modding will be there "out-of-the-box" or close thereafter I would assume.

Yeah, he did say that they were using the Creation Set to make the game, but there has been no official confirmation that a Creation Set will be released to the public, so therefore I used a strikethrough on it. (Might be misleading as to saying it won't be a set, so I'll change that...)

I try to only include confirmed stuff in this thread, but now I don't know what's confirmed or not anymore, after the Facebook incident^^

Kinda pissed that the Facebook user was fake though, as I asked a lot of questions there, and thought we were getting real answers. :(

I'm sure there will be a Creation Set/Construction Set. In one of the articles I saw some Senior Designer (or some other high post) say that the modding was important or something along those lines.

Anyway, Morrowind had one, Oblivion had one, why wouldn't Skyrim? I'm sure Bethesda won't let us down. :)

Yeah, Todd himself have said that the Modding Community is very important for the Elder Scrolls Games. :)

I believe he said so in the most recent Bethesda Podcast actually.
