Not much new info in that article, but there were a few goodies.

 

If they're using Havok Behavior, will we still be able to make our own animations?

 

Also, this statement might be troubling for people afraid that Bethesda is dumbing down the graphics for the consoles:

 

Our graphics work centers around doing things that will look the same regardless of platform, and sometimes that implementation will be different on the 360, PS3, and PC.

Todd Howard: Not in the way you're asking.

 

saying as all footage from the trailor was real ingame footage, maybe this means we will actually control the dragons without being on them, it would be exciting:P

Regaring spellcrafting. One of the ansers Todd gives to IGN, to me sounds like there will be no spellcrafting in the game.

 

 

IGN: Will there still be an opportunity in Skyrim to create custom spells? Can you enchant?

Todd Howard: We do have crafting in each archetype, and the magic one is Enchanting, so you can forge your own magic items and tweak their properties.

Is he saying "you can enchant, but not spellcraft, since enchanting is the magical crafting skill"?

new forms of travel. riding a carriage sounds fun. new awesome screen shots. it's a shame he didn't mention traveling on horse back though :( IGN should have asked what types of creatures will be in the game.

p.s was todd howard joking when he said leviate would be in the game's down loadable content for 3 hundred dollars? lol

Directx 11 huh, better be out of the box, not like Crysis 2 and patch it in later.

That's a lot of money only for the DLCs :tongue:, but I guess is well worth it, if we want unicorns, lol. Nice interview. :thumbsup:

Yes, Pete Hines is the vice president of Bethesda Softworks and is in charge of public relations and marketing of games published by Bethesda.

 

 

Hey nice job updating the page, but don't forget Todd Howard Said we can enchant our weapons and armors. and tweak it's properties.
