re-useable black soul gem?

so i was playing with the CS today trying to make myself a reusable black soul gem but cant seem to figure it out. Azuras star doesnt have any special scripting or anything that makes it reusable, just like theres nothing i can see that makes the black soul gems capable of holding human souls, im still kinda new to the CS so any help would be appreciated.

 

i know there might be a mod for this but im trying to do it on my own so i didnt even bother searching

The game mechaincs are desingned to remove any soul gem from the player's inventory when recharging or enchanting, except for Azura's star. I don't know of any way that you can prevent the game from removing normal soul gems.

If you come across any more broken links like that.

Simply copy the file ID ( in this case 28504 ) and paste it in place of the ID of any current oblivion mod.

The sites structure changed, but the file ID's remained the same.

So http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28504 becomes https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/28504
