I'm assuming that you'll get more mods that really add to and alter gameplay. If you do be careful of their incompatibilities. I would definitely recommend Better Cities after playing vanilla Oblivion for awhile. It is still being updated and the authors check it everyday to help people have issues with it. It changes many of the second-person notifications (you've harvested Aloe Vera) to first-person (I've harvested Aloe Vera.)
